Wow. A legit /MurderedByWords. Very rare even on reddit.

Wasn't there a lawyer lady on reddit that sued Airbnb because she rented a studio unit that had indoor cameras? I following her posts until reddit decided to kill Infinity.

I added 2 to that count this week!

I resurrected my Asus T100TA tablet/laptop that got killed by Windows10 and installed Linux Mint. I can now stream the seas in the comfort of my TV.

Then updated my Lenovo Flex from Win11 to Kubuntu. I used to play Android games via LD Player and it was so slow in Win11. But with Kubuntu+Waydroid, I was able to play my mmorpg game at the highest setting without lag!

So this is why Golden State Warriors are called "Dubs"! Today I learned.

The nickname comes from people shortening Warriors to the letter W. The shorter form of the letter W is pronounced "Dub." It also helps that W represents the word "win" in the world of sports, so when their fans refer to them as the Dubs, they are also referring to the team as winners.

The society that we know of are not kind to parents.

1. Sobrang mahal ng bilihin so need na dual income. Very rare ako nakakakita ng may stay at home parent, unless OFW yung isang parent. Flipside, hindi mo mapapalaki on your own anak mo, which is sad.
2. Ang hirap maghanap ng child minders, I was very surprise to know that the minimum yaya wage as per my peers are at PhP10,000+benefits per month.

Though govt benefits for maternity care are quite good (thank you Mama Risa), pero parang your own your own na after mo manganak.

Baka dahil nag sub ako sa linux and anime communities, pero majority are still cat pics, as designed. Lol.

Hopefully mawala na yung urge tumambay sa Frontpage > All, medyo puro gloom and doom karamihan ng nandun.

Ooooh. Magke-cake day na yung lemmy.world account ko.

For manhwa readers, Antagonist's pet is so much this!! Arth's okay, but they did Rebecca dirty. :(

Be me, refreshed from 2 day holiday. Opens ticket queue. Sees critical

Ako: Hala, working as expected naman yan ah. Paste requirement screenie.

Naway mas masaya "Monday" nyo mga ka-phlemmings.

Nakasagap ako ng chismis that our company is planning to push a RTO next year despite ALL employees saying they hate it.

Our client (bless them) have been pushing back on the RTO call because they know they'll lose most of us before the year's end.

It's clear as day to these foreigners (our clients) how horrendous the traffic and public transport here in Manila, so they're so confused why our company is pushing everyone to the office when our current setup works so well.

Gahd.

Contemplating of killing my Smart Postpaid because of shit like this. Flash sms should be used for emergencies, not ads!!! May ganito ba sa prepaid?

2% yung nabawas sa charge for the 12mins uptime when I did this test. So with this setup, baka kaya upto 10hours of uptime kung tama math ko.

Edit. Average usage pala tanong mo. Quick test palang magagawa ko dito for this photo. Will try to lay stardew valley with mods next time (this is actually what I use this for most of the time.)

Check out the Jetpens YT Channel fountain pen playlist if you haven't. Very comprehensive yung guide nila.

That's a great option for her. Should Windows push a crappy update, she'll still be able to use her computer.

My Lenovo Flex was okay at Win10. But I made the mistake of updating it to Win11 and it became a potato. I like my taskbar to never combine and at the right side of the screen so I could see all my open windows. Win11 killed that and I'm too much of a dinosaur to adjust to the "dock" taskbar type.

Thank you!! Smart's the only one with decent signal in our area, so can't really move away from them.

Never got to use my Master ball playing Pokemon Red.

All legendary birds + MewTwo got the "Great Ultra Great Ultra" treatment. If I ran out of balls or all my pokemon dies, reset the day and find them again. Lol.

Finally tried Lucky Me's pancit canton kasalo pack.

New fear unlocked. Lumilipad na headless ipis. Thanks.

Finally had a bidet installed at home. Free aircon na lang talaga magandang benefit ng pagpasok sa office, but even that is not worth drudging through Manila rush hour traffic.
