Apparently, it helps with battery and device temperature. I might have noticed a battery change but not sure about the device temperature.

Good news, I can solve the widget problem for you! Download: Lockscreen widgets and drawers, it costs 1.89, but it works really well! Just add a new widget through the app, then lock your phone and press on the widget with 2 fingers, then you can move it wherever you want. The app asks for alot of permissions but it is required for it to run. And I heard good things about the app!

Maybe a factory reset is what might help! Sometimes if you have been using your phone for a while that helps a lot!
