I recently heard a smart guy say: there is no longer left an right in the political spectrum. The main divide nowadays is between constructive policies, that tries to solve conflicts vs destructive policies, that use hatred and division to get to their perceoved goals (i.e. power and cash)... I liked this differentiation.

Bei Walter Moers heißt diese Trope "Mythenmetzsche Ereignisandrohung" (oder so ähnlich) und gilt als eher billiges Stilmittel in der epischen zamonischen Dichtkunst.

I'm not sure about the first and second "s"es, but the third is an "ß" (es and zet) that is still used for a sharp s sound following a long vowel... it's still in use, for example in "Straße" (street). The second "t" is a "tz" which is also atill in use in words like Katze (cat).

I'd assume for the purpose of this meme "globalism" means global player companies, i.e. google, microslop, shell and so on... not globalism as a wholistic approach to humanist values or something like that...

Diesen witz kenn ich noch von ner schallplatte von "herricht und preil". Die schlaglinie lautete allerdings in etwa: "eine große dürre wird kommen - sie glohm ja ga nich, wie dürre die is"

But there are heaps of borrowed words in that text? "Friendly" stems from old germanic, so does "land"... how is there no etymologist checking for "foreign" words? Oh wait, english is but a mix of bad french and bad german... But still. I expected a bit more effort to replace "foreign" words...
