How in the world is that 17%? TIL I also like unpopular movies.

It's absolutely true though. I used to live in Kuala Lumpur, and there is one district called Cyberjaya where they removed all the trees. It was noticeably hotter than the surrounding districts from just that one change.

Such a what I would have thought innocuous change, but it made a massive difference in climate for that one area.

If the government wanted brexit to work, they would’ve made it work!

In your opinion, in what way could this have been made to work, if the government had done everything right?

I'm in the EU but not UK, and I can't see any possible way that Brexit could have been overall better for England no matter what the government did.

I've been using it for a couple of years with Google Drive on Windows, on a near-daily basis, with approximately 300GB across multiple vaults - some very large files, some very small text files (think Obsidian).

I have not encountered any errors / issues / lost data. I do frequently get a message where it tells me it can't lock the vault because it's still "in use", but I just Force Lock and go on with my day.

I bought the aluminium and loved it so much I upgraded to the titanium. No regrets, although I can't say there's much difference except for the weight feels better.

I haven't used any other safety razors, but I can't imagine how anything could be better. It's so good I can shave with just cold water (no shaving cream) and it still comes out perfect.

I wanted to know your perspective, and you told me to read the articles as they contained your perspective.

If you'd rather give me your perspective on HeartyBeast's comment than make me guess by playing 20 questions, it would really help things. I would much prefer that.

If you don't agree with the article, then why tell me to read them to get your perspective 😖

I'm doing my best based on the information you've given me.

Very crap article:

Is their opinion incorrect? I'd be interested to hear a counterpoint.

Ok. Your first linked article is taking issue with the Guardian for saying "If a lesbian only desires same-sex dates that’s not bigotry, it’s her right".

Your position is that you disagree with the Guardian here?

Oof. Wasn't asking for a debate, simply asked your perspective.

You know I'm not "HeartyBeast", right?

Oh man that brings back good memories. It was easy enough to configure as a teenager, but technical enough that you felt like a badass hacker.

During the protests, Reddit was very high on both the Block and Lower lists. Quite interesting that this has changed. I still have mine set for Lower.

The best thing about Kagi is never again seeing Quora, W3Schools, or Pinterest in results.

Oh thank god. I'm on the $10 plan and I wasn't using it on mobile because it's so easy to hit 1000 searches on desktop.

That limit is just something that always hangs around at the back of your mind and you had to keep remembering to use Google for currency or unit conversions etc.

Now I can just use Kagi 👍

Use a custom domain on Protonmail (which includes Simplelogin) and you won't have any issues. It's a grand total of $5 per year for the domain.

Have you got an example I can test? I switched to Firefox mobile over a year ago and I can't think of any time I've come across a site that didn't work.

There's no reason to pay for sync. As your vault is plain-text files you can use dozens of existing sync solutions.

There's an open-source community sync plugin which aims to provide an equivalent replacement to the paid sync: https://github.com/vrtmrz/obsidian-livesync

I'm happily syncing my vault with Drive, and also paying for the sync as a way to support the Obsidian app development.

You share it to the Omnivore app. Couldn't be easier.

It does neat things like unfolds Twitter threads also.

Another vote for Omnivore. It syncs great into Obsidian also.
