Thanks for your honest answer, but how do you view the fact that he refused to accept defeat and tried to undermine the country's democracy? Does that concern you? Honest question from a non- American.

Except for basic human rights

Man, 3D buttons with gradients were the hottest shit for a while. Also, the animated buttons that would just do a crappy flip or rotate for no reason whatsoever other than the tech made it possible.

Love my Zojirushi bread maker. The best I've ever had.

Exactly, there's a critical mass and ideal number. No idea what it is, but we'll know it when we go over it :)

Squeaky clean could be embarrassing though.

One of the reasons it was a favourite subreddit of mine was that the members all seem to be a bit more mature, quite often older gamers, and so the discussion was just more balanced, rational, and, well, more mature basically.

Yep, me too! I remember moving over from Digg and finding Reddit to be really bare bones after Digg. The interface seemed so old school and not appealing at all. But I obviously got used to it and it became my new online home. I'm sure my experience with Lemmy will be similar in that any minor gripes will dissipate over time as I get used to it. And hopefully without all the drama of those previous sites!

Any news about the takeover? Seems to have gone very quiet with no one really knowing what's going on.

There doesn't seem to have been any updates recently on the takeover. What the hell is happening?

Well there's no way that 13 will be sold, so I wonder how these kinds of rumours will affect the footballers who are up for sale. Such high hopes for Sancho, but he's not been the player we expected for the price.

I think we really need to get rid of Martial. He's had so many seasons to shine and just never done it. Injury prone and not the world-class player we need.

Rawtherapee

I'm a darktable guy myself. I have tried Rawtherapee and was even an exclusive user of Art (RT fork) for a while, but darktable has everything I need in one package.

I'm using wefwef right now. Very impressive for a web app

At one point, it looked like we might have a trillionnaire owner and be shopping around for Mbappe and Bellingham but the Glazers made sure that didn't happen. Not that I wanted the club to go in that direction. Always been a fan of homegrown talent myself, but the summer is really underwhelming so far.

So the electronic rear curtain shutter is better for rolling shutter problems, but the trade-off is that you still need the mechanical shutter (which causes wear and tear)?

I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, so I guess I'm on about a 5-year lag. I usually wait for games to go on sale for a heavy discount. It's also when my PC is in a good enough state to play those AAA games because I usually upgrade a PC component every 3-4 years.

83 is a weirdly specific number and not really a nice bedtime read for the players.

Welcome new mods!

1 down, 6 to go

Can't really tell if we overpaid until we see how he performs in the next couple of years. If he's amazing, it might seem like a bargain.
