Make a dumb EV and you immediately get a lot of clients.
An EV doesn't need internet access, doesn't need mics and cameras inside, doesn't need a touchpad or a big screen.

Remember what the maintainer of The Pirate Bay once said?
Never be too certain something won't be enforced, as the power of capitalists are far worse than the public can imagine.
Maybe I'm too pessimistic, but this may just be the start. Big corps may find their way to control every aspect, step by step.
Maybe slightly off-topic, I just want to remind that Denuvo used pirated (personal licence) VMProtect in their commercial product.
You can.
Open a publisher page, then in the top right corner, look for a gear icon. Click it, and there's an option to ignore this publisher.
Unfortunately there's a limitation. This works only for those having a dedicated publisher page. For publishers without a dedicated page, Steam will fallback to the search page, which doesn't provide a way to ignore this publisher.
This CEO may think it's developer-friendly, but I highly doubt if Epic will keep such developer-friendly stance if Epic becomes a giant in this industry.
Epic burnt so much money on Epic store these years. If it succeeds, it's very likely Epic will try to earn it back. From player? Will players willing to pay more in Epic store than the others? If the answer is no.. Sometimes it really makes me wonder if these CEOs are really that stupid..
I'm not really familiar with this industry, but as far as I know, there are quite a few pi-named alternatives from China. Banana Pi, Orange Pi, Lichee Pi, and there are probably more. Unless there's something only Raspberry Pi can offer, this looks suicide to me.
The problem is, some developers/publishers simply never remove Denuvo.
Some examples I can think of, Ubi seems to never remove Denuvo, SEGA has Denuvo removed for some (probably due to the Denuvo offer at that time), but most are not removed.
I guess some are simply too notorious to really get a sales boost. I really want to buy those Ubi games on 95% off. UPlay required? Bye.
AIPAC is leading the political fight to keep Congress pro-Israel, helping pro-Israel candidates win elections and helping defeat detractors of the U.S.-Israel relationship. AIPAC's members contribute directly to Democratic and Republican candidates through the AIPAC PAC. As the largest pro-Israel PAC, our members demonstrate that being pro-Israel is both good policy and good politics.
Americans will be mad if the word "Israel" is replaced by words like "China", assuming they can read.
I have a feeling this can't be fixed unless they fork from a pre-slop point, which is highly unlikely.
The core problem with AI is not being incapable of generating working code, but the ability to maintain by AI or human.
AI has a larger memory (context size) than human. It can generate codes that are difficult for human to understand, and the complexity can build up fast, especially doing vibe coding without clear instructions (especially architectural).
On reaching a critical level, AI starts to make significantly more errors. At this point, no one can maintain, the codes are spaghetti. I think this is where Windows is at.
This AI slop is so baffling.
GO uses a garbage collector because it has to: removing this GC fundamentally complicates parallelism. If it's manual management, then who owns the data? Of course there are ways to work around, but none of them are free; in fact those can be even more expensive.
Assuming it enforces single ownership, then the allocator is responsible for freeing resources. How can it know the resource can be freed, if the resource is processed in another thread? Inter-thread communication? The complexity will be insane. Pass ownership? There's no move semantic in GO. Reference counting? No such a thing in GO either.
I even have a feeling that those 1.1k stars are fake.
I played this game earlier this year. I'm not sure about the recent development, but for the time I played it, solo was definitely not a problem. You can even recruit NPCs to help you in hoss fights, and these NPCs have a low cooldown on potion consumption. As long as there's potions, NPCs are unlikely to die. You can even focus on dodging and let NPCs bully bosses. NPCs also help in other perspectives e.g. farming and mining. Its QoL is the best in this genre, in my opinion.
TBH this article looks like half AI slop to me. What's "GPT researcher"? (edit: for some reason I missed the sentence explaining what it is, my had. My view doesn't change anyway. )
Also, by their logic, a terminal can run "rm -rf /", is this terminal vulnerable? Even more irony, in their report, they said GitHub is not vulnerable. Doesn't this exactly mean it's not the responsibility of MCP?
MCP is basically a protocol for payloads, it's just like protobuf/JSON but for AI. Can we say MCP is vulnerable simply because it can carry malicious payloads?
thanks for using Leebra!
