A shepherd is only your friend until you get to the killing floor.
I have a few questions about these videos. Are the soldiers aware of the drones above them? Are these drones small and quiet enough that you wouldn't notice them unless you were actively looking for them? Why are all these soldiers lying flat? It seems like that makes them much more exposed to these drone-grenade attacks.
Sorry if these questions have obvious answers. I am very ignorant about ground combat and drone warfare, just trying to learn.
Comedian Frank Caliendo used to do an impression of John Madden:
"You know what I'm thankful for? Kids who pay sixty bucks each year for what is basically the same video game. A-heh-heh-heh, cha-ching!"
This is purely my speculation, I don't have data to back this up.
There's an idea that these scammers are just working stiffs trying to make a living. While that is probably true for many, I think there is a sizable percentage who do their job with maliciousness. I think some of them enjoy the idea of scamming people.
If you have ever seen the streamer Kitboga, he plays elaborate, hours-long pranks on scammers. Many of the scammers who call him get pretty vicious when they lose their patience.
Anyway, to answer your question, I think they are caught off-guard when someone answers and is deliberately messing with them. They sense that the tables have turned, and the aggression comes out.
It was a favorite of mine growing up.
It's The Brave Little Toaster. Here's the scene in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8kQDNLkT3c
"Hmmm, let's do a search to see if anyone else has this problem. This post on Reddit looks promising. This person has the exact same problem as me.
"Wait, it is me."
And then he doesn't even like Star Wars? What's up with that?
I don't have a problem with pineapple on pizza. It's a nice flavor.
Some of them went from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye.
Thank you!
Centuries before Samuel Johnson's "I refute it thus!" moment.
Thank you as well!
Yes.
I'm inclined toward your view on this.
That's true. The video that this quote comes is actually about Ellison trolling someone (and in a pretty mean way, too).
It's the Macbook 1,1 and the Macbook 2,1 that will support Libreboot.
This is good to know. I've been having trouble getting Invidious to work, I'll have to check out Piped as a front-end.
