A lot of subs have already gone dark (over 4000 as of now), you can see a live progress tracker on reddark.untone.uk if you want to watch 😊
Any of the Yakuza games for me! I love the feeling of walking around Kamurocho or Sotenbori and just trying different arcade games, karaoke, food, baseball etc 😊 the ambience and overall vibe is so nice (even if you do have to beat up random thugs every few minutes). Also, there are so many (very long) games in the series that there's always something new for me to try
Copied from my other comment:
I just found it as well, it's in your phone (e.g., Google) settings. For my phone (Samsung) I go:
(Samsung) Settings -> Apps -> Jerboa for Lemmy -> Set as Default -> Supported Web Addresses
That leads to the page shown in the OP screenshot 😊
I don't think RSS would work for that (it only seems to pull the content for the post itself, not the comments), but I've always used reddit-stream.com/ for live comments 😊 you can just take any link to a live thread (e.g. https://reddit.com/comments/145upmt/) and replace 'reddit' with 'reddit-stream' in the URL. It shows a live (updates every few seconds) feed of comments, and you can still comment if you link your reddit account.
That way you're still not on the reddit site or giving them ad traffic, and it's also a lot nicer to use as a bonus! I'd still prefer a fediverse alternative but it could be a good option for now
It's just a meme, since they're both highly anticipated movies with very different vibes releasing on the same day. I don't think most people are actually expecting them to compete (if anything, most of the jokes I see are about watching a Barbie/Oppenheimer double feature). It's the same as the Doom Eternal/Animal Crossing jokes a few years back

It's very much a flawed gem. It's definitely a little clunky (and the graphics have definitely aged) but it has some unique systems. The pawn system is cool (you create your main character plus a 'pawn' character that follows you, and you can summon other players pawns to fill out your team, which gives those players some rewards).
The magic system makes you feel like a badass (a lot of slow-charging but really powerful spells) and the melee combat is pretty fun as well (you can climb large enemies to attack them, Shadow of the Colossus style).
It is pretty long but I also found the gameplay to be the main appeal for me, so I personally wouldn't feel pressured to finish the game. It goes on pretty deep discounts fairly regularly so you could pick it up without much of a commitment (it looks like it's $4.80 USD on steam now). It can be pretty challenging though (especially early on) so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of difficult games.
thanks for using Leebra!
