"...she thought I was going to harm her".

That's unfair, your dentist caused harm to you during your procedure because they were (I'm assuming here and making connections to try and stand up for you. You gotta fill in some of the blanks here) unable to plan accordingly for your crown.

You had a traumatic experience due to something that wasn't your fault and it sounds like the dentist is likely unaware of how you felt. Did you speak up and let them know that you were in an amount of pain that you were having trouble dealing with during the procedure?

I hate the beginning of this comment

Actively watching and looking at my browsing info? Not really.

Saving all of my data and monitoring aggregate data for any alerts to abide by whatever legal nonsense? Absolutely.

I'm so confused about your legs. You just free balling? Short shorts? Is my perspective confused?

That's a rather broad statement. Did anime do something to you? Also, this is manga, so not only is your statement generalizing a beautiful genre, it's a statement about the wrong thing

I think I share the sentiment with a majority of the responses from my fellow tech workers: fuck yeah, they deserve it. Those people are out in the elements (mind you during record breaking heat waves).

They deserve every dollar of that 170k and more as I sit in an air conditioned room pushing pixels

Yeah fair XP. Apologies for totally disregarding the larger issue, bud. Didn't mean to minimize one of our generational issues

I almost feel like this is basically Fridays at my place of work. Since it's not formalized that means I don't have to worry about anyone looking to adjust my salary or PTO or whatever corporate america would do to validate the savings of a 4 day work week. Selfishly I like where it's at, but I do think overall the 4 day work week would benefit us all as long as pay doesn't decrease

I've been having trouble getting syntax highlighting to work on my '```' fenced code blocks. I give it the right/supported language identifier, but nothing changes.

I'm using neovim with a bunch of lsp plugins and treesitter. Anyone have dotfiles with markdown code syntax highlighting working?

I have a Thinkpad x1 nano that I threw Linux on. Not sure if it counts since it came with Windows installed, but Thinkpads have historically done well with Linux support.

It's tiny, super light, can't upgrade any parts, has minimal ports and I love it

My brother/sister/person, I understand the frustration but let's not be hostile out here. Honestly I don't know that every lemmy app has a good intuitive search function inside of a community, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes asking and making the post is faster than intuitively figuring out how everything here works.

Anyone have good suggestions on what deserves my money, or the effort of setting up?

Hijacking for some 360pro questions!

I have the same keyboard, and recently I've been facing some connectivity issues and was wondering if you've seen the same or know a fix.

Issues:

• random connection drop outs with both sides during typing
• after random dropouts (maybe 5x in the span of an hour once every couple of days both in windows and osx) it just repeats one of the keys I pressed until I input another key press
• right side doesn't always connect to the left side after switching on and off

For all these issues, the battery is charged and they only started in the past month after owning the keyboard at launch. I tried doing a hard reboot with the reset button, and reinstalling the default software along with flashing my custom configuration through zmk.

Any mods you recommend other than replacing switches or keycaps? I opted for the kinesis blank keycaps with domed home row keys to match my kinesis advantage 2 feel :)

Love it otherwise! Thanks for the post :D

Me too. I'm glad this isn't out of hand

Oooo I guess I have to shoot the children of time series to the top of my list. I've been seeing it mentioned here and there, and a Hugo is just undeniable!

I haven't watched any twolves games (or highlights even), anything about their defence stand out to you? Why is their d so good

Why would you get them something that is from a label that has no standardization? "Bird friendly" doesn't even mean anything. Birds aren't real

I always have to leave a little rope to hang myself with
