I cannot understand the people who do those annoying social media “pranks” that involve making a mess for some poor retail person/janitor/cashier to clean up. Especially because the most direct explanation is that the videos gain traction—to which I then ask, who are the people that watch those videos and go “heck yeah I love this”??

That’s why a lot of people are suspicious that the quote is out of context or out of order. And it looks like the full quote explains that he likes LA bc he can be close to home and compete for a championship

I initially read this as favorite films and came to say The Princess Bride or Clue. But for favorite scenes, I’d say the one where Inigo is growing impatient waiting for the Man in the Mask to scale the mountain or the part of Clue where the butler races around the mansion trying to explain the murders

Honestly not mad about it. I don’t think he’s worth a max and some of his other shenanigans have me face-palming hard. Still love him as a defender and hope he gets to go somewhere good, but if this is how the chapter ends then so be it

@djsaskdja

Ohhh I didn’t even think about the fouling as a factor! And I imagine given his proportions, there’s concern of serious injury with the excessive body contact. Perhaps the plan is for him to spend the time bulking up so that he’s more durable in the regular season?

@FrostBolt I’m a big fan of plant care! I find it super relaxing to have a little garden in my apartment (plus I love the pop of color in my living room!)

Other hobbies I have are puzzle games (eg sudoku, crosswords, word scrambles), podcasts, and audiobooks

oh my gosh it’s so pretty! How are philodendrons as plants? They look lovely but I’m curious if they’re challenging plants

@doctortofu
Well let your wife know that y’all have a gorgeous little garden!! I love the variety in there. Ofc we all love our plants equally, but if you HAD to pick a favorite—which one would you say? ;)

Believing in myself. When I was in high school, I decided that I wanted to go to an Ivy League college. I figured I was just as capable as anyone else that went to those schools, I just needed to get there. But my guidance counselor refused to write the recommendation letter bc nobody at my school had ever gone to an out-of-state college before. I had to have a parent-teacher conference to get the letter approved. Fast forward to now, I’ve since finished college at an Ivy and now ~5% of each graduating class from my high school attends and Ivy for college. Turns out we were more than capable of doing it; someone just had to do it first.

@Ds4zkMjT

Thx for commenting! Yes, it seems like I’ve been OOTL regarding star players and the Summer League

@dowath

I love this type of shower thought. Feels straight out of tumblr! I wonder if I could increase my productivity by having people line up and I drive by in a car—like the homecoming queen of a local town

I’m a fan of this

Currently reading The Haunted Forest Tour by James A Moore. The premise is a safari thru a forest filled with horror creatures that goes wrong, and I am LOVING it so far! I’m still pretty early into it, but so far so good. After this, I think I’ll go back to another Agatha Christie whodunnit

I’m amassing a small army of haworthias and recently fallen in love with pothos

@sam

Lovely! I have a golden pothos that I also love to death. She’s dramatic as hell but always bounces back

I do! I’ve got Elphaba, Hawthorne, Sonic, and Phil among others lol

ok but why did KangKang crying actually make me emotional 🥺🥺

In all seriousness, Edward really be gaming and every single member of EDG has such firepower. Like who gets a 3k while stunned??

for sure! imo sci-fi totally falls under the umbrella of science

I haven’t watched it, but from a quick google search it sounds like it might be sci-fi? In that case, it totally counts!

Welp that was a rough watch as a PRX fan. Admittedly, I was never super confident that they would beat Fnatic, but it would’ve been nice if the score was a bit closer at least. Now to slug it out in the lower bracket 😮‍💨
