That’s pretty much the norm here. Two card readers is the only thing I haven’t seen somewhere else. Some supermarkets have two bagging areas, but it’s a bit rare. Other discount supermarkets rather go for one tiny bagging area and rather short belt.
If you are alone on the bus, it’s worse, but I dunno how many you need to offset it. You also should travel a bit farer because of rider pooling. But ridership quantity should offset this usually

It’s just a git repo, that could me deployed elsewhere. Their servers should be open source if I remember correctly
