I bought a kit but if I were going to do it over I would have pieced it out. I've never done it before so I didn't really know what I needed. So I bought the kit, then I ruined a bunch of stuff and lost a lot of time b/c the kit I got was so low quality. Especially the emulsion they sent with it was BAD. I've replaced most of the kit with speedball stuff which I recognize isn't like the gold standard or anything but the price/quality is right where I wanted it. Piecing it out myself would have saved a lot of time and money. The only thing I'm still using out of that kit is a piece of white melamine board, scoop coater, and exposure light
My understanding is that flatpaks run in a sandbox, so although there is a risk- especially for what you give permissions to- it's not exactly the same. The AUR is basically "curl | bash", it's a miracle this hasn't happened before. If you're worried about it I think flatseal can look at the permissions and such, but you're probably fine.
I think what I said was that if you get so trashed every time you leave the house to the point where this is even an issue you have a problem. Would it not be "sAfEr" to just not get wasted every time you go to dinner?
