I've been waiting for years for this to finally be approved. I can't stand Daylight Saving Time, only serves to make me tired for the next month while I adjust, twice per year. It's a relic from the past and many countries are moving towards removing it or have removed it already altogether.

I wish you a well recovery.
I was feeling pretty bad a few days before Christmas. Couldn't breathe, anxiety level off the roof. I did a COVID test from the pharmacy which was negative, which in turn made me feel even more anxious about my health. A day after Christmas I was so bad I went to the hospital. They tested me there and in less than a minute it was a positive.
It was a pretty bad COVID, I got vaccinated about 2 years ago but this was the first time I actually got it. It went pretty pretty bad.
I am still suffering from long COVID symptoms, mostly issues with short breath etc. Currently lying down on the couch trying to get better. I really hope this ends soon, I need my life back.
I hope you don't have to go through the same thing. I really wish you a swift recovery.
Cross post from Lemmy to Reddit. But we must raise the question if we really want that. Reddit became toxic over the past few years, and I think people on Lemmy right night are in general different. Do we want to turn Lemmy into Reddit?
Spot is a native Spotify client for gnome.
Here's a video from Modern Vintage Gamer explaining why they did that https://youtu.be/XEKPUARYckc?si=oxszKFtYHBL9TmHH
Not sure in what context you're asking this question, but my answer is the International Space Station. I love how it's possible to see it at random sometimes at night, and the way it crosses the sky just looks different compared to a regular airplane flying at night.
Isn't that just https://www.google.com/android/find/ ?
It even had the same icon.
Brazilian here, to be fair I've read so many good tricks here that I am not sure what I have to contribute, but yeah, light clothes with bright colours or white, don't dress dark as your clothes you heat up. No shoes if you can, but also not barefeet lol sandals and flip flops havaianas styles. If you live close to the beach obviously go take a swim, otherwise swimming pool or AC at home or car or go to store random stores with AC too lol. Drink cold stuff, keep hydrated. Fans, and cold shower.
That's definitely the case, and that's not the only country with laws that protect artists this way, for example Brazil right next to it also have it's own set of laws, had then even before Spotify was a thing, but Spotify is happily in Brazil since 2014.
The Uruguayan law is just not well though, and that's what happens when you put incompetent people in charge of making laws for things they don't have the slightest clue of how they work. They kill an entire industry.
It depends on your age or health I guess. I'm now 34 and I am learning some types of food will tend to make me sleepy while others will help me stay away and focused for longer (or maybe they just don't make me sleepy?)
Basically avoiding any type of heavy carbohydrates does the trick to me. Bread, spaghetti, potatoes, milk (in your coffee).
If I do get sleepy, also not sitting straight after lunch helps, I recently got a standup desk and I stand the first 30 min after lunch for work, really helps.
Also avoid any kind of sugar at all costs. Candies, dessert, ice cream, chocolate, sweetened coffee, and counterintuitively even some fruits such as bananas may give you a sugar crush.
If someone says "there's been a bombing" I will understand it is in the premises of where I am because that HOW LANGUAGE WORKS you fucking moron.
Omit the location in a location dependent phrase and the location is your location.
Stop spreading toxicity otherwise you're the terrorist too.
Dude's getting downvoted but there's not much of an integrated development environment in a glorified text editor with plugins once you realize the competition really gives you all the tools you need to never ever really need to leave the environment.
