Seriously, wtf is their problem? I've been very happy with their VPN support on Linux. Clearly Drive is a whole different animal. SpiderOak has had their Hive integration with Linux for many many years. Still works now. WTF Proton? Why wouldn't Linux integration be a priority for a company that claims to be all about privacy and security?

When I first heard about TDS, I immediately assumed they were talking about the MAGAts. Then I was like, SOB, they already co-opted the perfect description for their own mental illness! It really is always projection with them.

Maybe someone who works for an airline can explain this to me. Most other industries that rely on a piece of equipment to function, have backups on standby. The number of backups is a function of the failure rate of that specific piece of equipment. So let's say you are a trucking company, and you know from experience that one out of twenty trucks on average will go down in a given week for some repair issue but it's in your company's best interest to keep the freight moving on time. So you have 5% of your fleet on standby across your shipping route to keep your business functioning. It doesn't seem like airlines do this, or they do it very poorly and don't seem to have any incentive to improve. What gives??

Hack. When used to describe anything that some idiot realized was possible. For example, "I just discovered this amazing hack to save on my grocery bills. I buy garlic and potatoes then bury them in my yard. Six months later, I have more garlic and potatoes! Epic!!"

If your roof is not shaded by trees, a light colored roof makes a huge difference. This can be accomplished a number of ways. Replacing your roofing material with a lighter color is ideal but expensive. Coating it with something like Henry Tropi-cool is durable but the product is also a little pricey. The absolute budget way to do this on an asphalt shingled roof is with a slurry of masonry lime. I've experimented with all of these methods and the results are dramatic. In my case the coating paid for itself within one season and made the house noticeably more comfortable.

Eternity. I've tried them all and it was the best. Dev is too busy lately to maintain it. So I'm using Connect in the interim.

Really, you just gotta try them all to find the flavor you like best!

Everything you're feeling is normal. Stay optimistic. We were in your shoes not that long ago and went through the same thing. Keep breathing, deep breaths, maybe take up some breath focused meditation for 15-20 mins a day. Or even some yoga can calm your nervous system. There will be unexpected setbacks but you're going to work through it all and come out the other side just fine. Personally, I've had to redirect my attention to just tackling one thing at a time and keep plugging away so I don't get overwhelmed with the magnitude of all the issues together.
