I adore this. It's got personality! If someone invited me up there, i'd feel weird if i wasn't in full vampire regalia, even if i was just popping up there because they forgot their keys on the loveseat.

I tried to find out why kitchen tubs and showers might be a thing (back when some were first posted here) and read an article about how ages ago in new york, landlords were required by law to provide baths for tenants. So they just stuck them where there was already a water hookup. So, in old apartments in New York, you'll occasionally run into a kitchen tub.

So far that new knowledge has been completely irrelevant to the kitchen/bath situations posted here, but maybe someday it will be useful that I know that now and I won't be left assuming a fetish situation.

Was something done in like photoshop with the colors in this pic? It looks off to me, but I'm not an expert.

I believe the mask is called a visard and was used to protect against the sun.

You also need to account for where the really tall people are in the row in front of you. Social optimization be damned, I want to see!

There's some speculation in the comments on this site that the American Battlefield Trust purchased it as part of an effort to preserve a historic battlefield location in Princeton. So they don't want to be destroying other historic stuff, I guess?

I've always enjoyed reading about people's dwarf fortress games, but I could never decide if I'd like it. If you're a fan, what kind of other games are like it? Is it mostly fun, or 90% frustrating with great fun moments? How long did it take to start to have fun if the learning curve is high? If anyone is in the mood to sing its praises, I would love to hear them. If no one does, that's cool, too! Just been thinking about playing it for years but never committing.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood might interest you. Thinking about interesting character studies - if you like stories with horror elements, Monster is great. Cowboy Bebop is a classic sci fi story. I was personally a big fan of Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit.

The Longest Journey was my favorite as a kid. Point and click adventure about a young art student in the future who keeps teleporting to a fantasy world.

There are some local news sources that post info about local traffic issues, emergencies, etc, much faster on twitter than elsewhere.

Also, there are some experts on international topics who write articles elsewhere, but still discuss those issues with each other on twitter. There's a list of english speaking experts on ukraine I keep up with. everyone's migrating, but not as fast as I'd like.

I use nitter for that stuff. Here's hoping they move soon, but people who know what I want to know aren't always good at social media.

Poor Laios. He misses a couple clothing details but does pretty well. And then...look at how they see him. Chilchuck does ok-ish on everyone other than Laios.

Senshi and Marcille, though...

I had some luck putting the fancy cat bed where she was already sitting - on top of a filing cabinet. She loved it until one day she did a big jump and sledded down the back of the cabinet.

I put shelf paper underneath to prevent sliding and she eventually forgave the bed. So my suggestion is to put it where they already nap. But watch out!

Yeah, this was building for months. I saw posts about how the banned lady's fully clothed selfies kept getting marked 'adult' a week ago, maybe. posts about non-responses for harassment going back forever.
