Not exactly. Just a fun fact and disclaimer that I use generics if at all possible. But my pharmacology class taught that generics can have higher tolerance of error in % of active ingredient. Not usually a big deal unless the drug has a very narrow therapeutic range, meaning too little doesn’t work and too much will harm you. 99.9% of generics is fine. But if you ever wonder if one batch of your med doesn’t seem to work as well this it’s likely that batch was on the lower end of acceptable.

Grew up here thinking all this is normal. Trump opened my eyes to our crazy country. Now I’m a bit of a black sheep of the family. Enjoying all of your responses. Just bought my first European car recently. Hope to go back soon.

This is the correct answer from my observation and personal experience. Get educated and move to your dream job which is probably in a city. Leave behind the religious and conservative echo chamber.

Wood working. Can fix things and build things. It’s very rewarding. Can find second hand tools and slowly build your collection and upgrade them as you develop and hone your skills until your wife surprises you at home with your closest friends and family and they proceed to tell you that you have a problem and have to decide between investing time and energy into a living family or your woodworking hobby.

Really like this answer. Agree. Reality has a liberal bias. Religion and wishing for a return to rose colored past times is foundation of conservatives I know.

Someone knows their political philosophy😉. This is correct and well said.

Love the kbeanaut. Great job.

USA here. Grew up wearing shoes all over the house. Even in carpet, etc. one out of a dozen friends will have a house rule no shoes in the house or on the carpet. Those people are weirdos 😉 edit. I do wear shoes on my bed or couch. Wouldn’t place on my pillow or my head area.

A shift in corporate mindset to maximize growth and profit. Go research Jack Welsh.

I may be doing it wrong I admit. I haven’t had any foot oral transmission of disease that I know of. 🤦‍♂️

Enjoying Kbin for my daily browsing since Monday.

Ditto here for Namesilo. Cheap and works. Decent support.

18-21 is very common here in the South. I haven’t heard of younger personally. But I’m not rural. Know of some towns very religious and inbred, I’m sure it’s happening there.

Definitely not someone else’s. Climate difference makes sense.

I use iOS safari. This is literally the one thing I’m not liking about Kbin. Is there a plan to fix?

He was loved. He existed and will be remembered. He reached far across the world to us internet strangers who understand his impact in this world and in your life and made us smile. Thanks for sharing.
