Linux is amazing for games thar don't have anti-cheat and I don't play those games. Saying that Linux gaming isn't ready is just stupid at this point. And for emulation it might be better than Windows.
Few days ago I was in meeting with two friend, we did something for school, and my screen was shared. At one point I had to type something in Vim so I opened a terminal. They were shocked, confused and said something like "we aren't hackers" (and we are on IT department). More people should know about beauty of CLI.
I don't follow news, especially not on public figures like Elon Musk so I didn't know what kind of person he is but this sounds really bad. I don't understand people like this, they don't want to even try to help or support their own children. Can't imagine what he (or anyone else who is like him) is willing to do to a stranger.
It's funny how every time they say atheist can't answer certain question it's actually easy to answer.
That's really funny because they are the ones not knowing what's good and what's bad. Even Bible shows god doing some evil stuff like killing almost everything alive on Earth or telling a father to kill his own son. It confuses me how anyone can say that such god is good.
Another problem with Bible (and other similar books) is that it doesn't make sense that omnipotent god would communicate to humans trough vague book that would have many different interpretations and possibly have it's meaning changed a bit with translations to different languages. At least there are Christians who accept that events from Bible never happened.
Because religion is all about indoctrination. When I came out as atheist my dad said that all my ancestors were Christians and I'm stopping that tradition. I don't care, if they belived that doesn't mean that I also have to belive and just because it's a tradition it doesn't mean it should continue. He also said that goal of atheism is to make people lose their identity (he and many others in my country think that identity is just religious and natinoal identity, they also think that those two things are same). After that I had to explain to him what is identity, how it's impossible to lose it and that there is no agenda behind atheism.
It's funny how they say it's to protect creators while their actions in the past prove they don't care about creators, they also earn from ads (more than creators as far as I know). At least they can't do anything about RSS readers since they use XML and can be used in many ways other than watching YouTube videos.
Linux PC
I never expected to see something written in any language from Balkans here, nice.
We used Matlab in 3rd year of high school. Teachers sent us link to download pirated version. I installed GNU Octave.
Roswell that ends well
I just wanted to deny it because being trans is kinda scary, even after accepting myself there is still some doubt from time to time that I'm just faking it (I know this is normal thing for trans people so I try to ignore it).
Because I prefer using keyboard for almost everything and in most cases terminal is faster than GUI.
Anyone who knows literally anything about evolution knows what a strawman this is.
Having Matrix room sounds great, I'd also like to have more interaction with other trans girls.
I was so hyped when I saw it, can't wait to play it. I really hope that it will be for Switch (please don't be for Switch 2).
Yes, especially because I'm missgendering myself a lot and I hate that.
If you have PC that can run virtual machines I recommend starting there so you can see how Linux works. Use it for a longer period of time and try doing some stuff there that you would normally do on Windows.
That's basically how it felt for me.
thanks for using Leebra!
