Some of us buy those ironically though. I had a shirt that said (and I unfortunately cannot put it in kana/Kanji atm) something very close to, in full kana and kanji: "I am a stupid American. I'll buy anything."
I knee fully what it meant because the sentence was pretty easy, but I still wanted to travel to Japan wearing it.
Vegan joke. Lots of antivegan especially gym rat bros say it's impossible to get enough protein to build proper muscle on a vegan diet.
The joke here is a much larger and more muscular herbivore is being asked about it by a carnivore.
He endorsed Trumps second term, saying "we need a proven, serious, tested leader for president ".
So he's either lost his intelligence with age, gained racism, or was always a dick.
People can remember two things, and lots of people like drama. This is a short laugh at a CEO getting a very small amount of comeuppance. It's not going to make us forget how terrible Trump is or that the government is actively covering up for pedophiles.
We need small breaks of laughter to keep sane sometimes.
I know these are just copypasta, but it's always alarming seeing people act like sex is a violent act from the man onto the woman, but praising it. High HP? Armor? Shouldn't sex feel good for both parties involved?
Well, it's probably true. Although easier to confirm sometimes, information across the internet still is often a big game of telephone. Some people treat internet info like UDP and just accept what they get, some people are TCP and will fact check before accepting it.
This person probably did just hear it from a buddy.
My sister lived in S Korea a few years ago, and keeps up on some stuff. She mentioned the feminist 4B movement. Quoting an article:
4B is shorthand for four Korean words that all start with bi-, or “no”: The first no, bihon, is the refusal of heterosexual marriage. Bichulsan is the refusal of childbirth, biyeonae is saying no to dating, and bisekseu is the rejection of heterosexual sexual relationships. It is both an ideological stance and a lifestyle, and many women I spoke to extend their boycott to nearly all the men in their lives, including distancing themselves from male friends.
So some of this might be the movement, which is against the patriarchal society Asian countries are famous for (and part of why so many weeb incels want Asian "submissive" wives). Has my respect too. Iirc some men have been violently attacking women over it, bur I can't find a link in the limited time I have atm.
Well, not getting the distinction is pretty important. People can't discuss an issue without both understanding the definition of terms, or we'd just be speaking different languages to each other.
Cis and trans are both Latin prefixes.
Trans- is a Latin prefix meaning "across", "beyond", or "on the other side of".
Cis- The prefix “cis-” comes from the Latin meaning “on this side,” as opposed to “trans-” which means “on the other side of” or “beyond.”
So all cisgender means is not transgender. Or transgender means not cisgender. Neither are insults that should offend, and if one does, it might be a viewpoint thing.
You are, presumably, a homo sapiens sapiens. We don't use that term generally, and just call you human. However, both are correct labels, and they aren't insults. If there were homo neanderthalensis around still, the distinction may come up in conversation for various reasons, and that's when it'd be necessary to have the different labels.
Straight or gay/bi/lesbian/pan/ace/demi etc are all talking about something completely different, which is your sexual orientation. Calling you straight when we're discussing whether you are cis or trans would be like calling you lotion or something when talking about your species. Lotion isn't a species, so it's pointless to the conversation, and just plain wrong.
You could of course request to be called lotion, but it's a confusing title if someone was discussing your species, especially medically, in socially (as in social issues or norms for your species), issues that pertain to your species, medication, etc.
Now, here is where I might be skirting close to accusing you of something, but if possible, please just think deeply about it. Why is CIS unacceptable but straight acceptable? Is it possible that CIS makes you not feel "normal" as a label, while straight does?
It's to encourage loyalty, like wearing branded clothes, using branded bags, or loyalty programs. This one is very benign though, so I don't find it in any way something to complain about.
Infodumping male here, I generally do it because in my mind context is important to make sense, and of course I do it regardless of gender. It honestly feels like a detriment, as I feel myself taking too long, but don't really know how to shorten it. I do it when explaining issues at work or when talking about stuff I like etc, but have audio has times where I tried to be brief then got the wrong info across or forgot to mention something important or just right make sense. It's like I can't find the right balance between explaining and dumping.
I didn't find this post as an insult or anything though.
In his deposition, Owen Shroyer (Idiot who works for Alex Jones, calls himself "the cuck destroyer", and also admitted under oath in same depo that he is a puppet) stated that he believes the first ammendment gives him the right to say whatever he wants "without consequences."
This shows a lack of understanding (or deliberate will to understand) that no action is without consequence. It could be a good consequence, or a bad one, but by simply taking an action you affect the world, large or small. They just want to be able to do what they want no matter what it does to others and suffer no backlash whatsoever, which screams rules for thee not for me.
Iirc George R.R. Martin has a similar reaction when people complained about the amount of sex in Game of Thrones. A telegraph article that immediately asked me to login said that he was
always astonished that there's always so much more controversy about the sex than about the violence," and that this reaction "says something about us that isn't necessarily a good thing to say"
Since Chiropractic medicine was invented in America by a spiritualist quack, I would say trying to use the same name for valid medical practices in another country is the mistake of whoever decided that was ok to do. It's like saying yes, wizardry is bullshit in America, but in many other countries it's a valid form of pharmacology. Just call it the valid term that has regulations.
From what I remember of being 15, it doesn't exclusively have to be boys. When the phallus was inflating in our biology class video on human sex organs, the person yelling about it blowing up like a balloon certainly wasn't a boy.
thanks for using Leebra!
