What bothers me with this controversy is that it's not clear for me how one can earn a living in the lemmy ecosystem if everything is FOSS. Also, one should understand that the app is in beta, but there was so much hype around that app.

I'm a fan since his Starcrafts series. He's so clever the way he finds the absurb gameplay mechanics and makes parodies out of it. I guess that if he makes a 2nd episode, it would be on compaignons dying pushed off a cliff, but we somehow be able to take their inventory or ressurect them.
It's seems a translation from https://ici.radio-canada.ca/...
There was a debate on the radio in Montreal (https://www.985fm.ca/...), and it seems that more and more people are receptive to a more ecological alternative to the typical lawn.
It means that if there is no contract signed before the arbitration, both parties will give arguments to an arbiter of why the contract (one year only) should be a certain amount. The arbiter will then decide between the two amounts.
It's an option to avoid because the player will receive harsh criticism in the process that will make him want to leave once the contract is expired or before.
Here are my recommandations on what is better on PC because of the advantage of mouse and keyboard vs controller by genre:
Strategy: the first thing I wanted to do when I bought my PC is to play Age of Empire 2 and Starcraft 2 and they still are the top games of the genre. It's night and day compared to their console games like Halo Wars. I recommend also the Civilisation series.
Simulators: Cities Skylines and Microsoft flight simulator are fun games and nothing looks like it on console.
MOBA: AFAIK, MOBAs like DOTA 2 and League of Legends only exist on PC because it's unplayable on controller. I don't like these kinds of games, but it's still something that you won't find on console.
FPS: A mouse let you have better control on your aim, but it's less relevant in games with crossplay multiplayer where the aim assist on controller is strong like in Apex Legends and Halo Infinite. Recently, a lot of people enjoy Battlebit.
One the parties in opposition suggested a tax for power-hungry cars and they got attacked on it during the last campaign. The population must accept the difficult choice, because the status quo is not sustainable.
I have two campaigns at the same time, one solo, one with a friend. I am amazed how different the campaigns are. Moreover, by discussing with my other friends that play the game, I could play two or three more campaigns and there will be significant differences between the four of them. Per exemple, I have not played dark urge, broken oath paladin, no evil run (I have one but I wasn't evil enough). The replayability is surprisingly good.
I have not finished the game. I'm in Act 3 in one of the campaigns. One thing that help make the campaigns differents is to do the quests in different orders. It lead to unexpected changes.
It get harder and harder for government to regulate corporations as they get bigger and bigger and are multinationals. That's what happens with tax heavens.
I understand corporations motives, but the parent commenter explains well that it doesn't work well if they are too greedy about it.
I mean everything goes to shit. 2023 could not get me more pessimistic. 2020 was a bad year, but I still got hope that it is temporary. Now, I see that companies have no limit in screwing their consumers and I can't do anything about it.
That's really unexpected. I like that we got rid of Hoffman but Petry is signed for one more season and it's one less roster spot for the young defensemen. And we now have 3 average goaltenders. There may be another trade coming.
