I love the concept of having negative money in a bank account. When I was younger, dumber, and poorer, I'd look at my bank account and think, "Man, all I need is another $220. Then I'll finally be flat-out broke."

Both are true regarding my battle with algae.

It's how the pretend it's a nutritious breakfast.

To be fair, as someone who's fought algae for years, I can attest that it's fucking hard to do.

But I lost the battle for way less than 300 million dollars.

And fewer stripes. 13 is too many.

And put a cool picture on it instead of those stars. We like eagles and violence. How about an eagle killing a snake? That would be badass!

I'm saying we should adopt the Mexican flag.

Maybe we understand that the US is the greater of 2 evils in this specific war, while also feeling like the Iranian government is evil.

Yeah. Console optimization used to be a real thing they should bring to PCs. Tomb Raider 2013 and Battlefield 3/4 on the Xbox 360 managed visuals and performance that an equivalently-speced PC from 2005 wouldn't have been anywhere close to handling.

A lot of it at the time was also antisemitism. They didn't want to give Jews a homeland - they wanted to get rid of them and convinced them Israel was the answer. And the only people it's worked out for are rich assholes and religious zealots.

The th8ng about this administration is that they're drumming constantly about everyone. Yeah - they attacked Iran, but the also threatened to attack Canada and Mexico and Greenland and China and everyone else. They've overwhelmed us with so much bullshit we're too busy being shocked by the new attrocity to give a proper response to the last one.

It's essentially banned in Vegas because cocktail waitstaff would riot.

Supermarkets should be able to write off the expenses (transportation, stagging, etc) related to donating soon-to-expire foods to food banks. And not just normal income deductions, but actual direct deductions from taxes. That is, if you spend $1000 loading and shipping expired food to the food bank, you pay $1,000 less in taxes.

Truly incentivize giving food to the poor.

I was hanging out with a couple at their rent house they'd just gotten and was sitting with the girl in the living room after dinner and the guy came and sat down after finishing up cleaning in the kitchen. He said it was the first place he'd lived with a dishwasher and how nice it was going to be.

I ended up telling a story about how my Mom had used regular Pamolive dish soap in the dishwasher on 2 separate occasions, and the girl laughed. The guy was like "I don't get it."

I explained how regular dish soap will fill the entire kitchen with suds, and he was like "I'll be right back" and dashed out of the room.

We went in there and the bubbles were just starting to escape the dishwasher.

I remember someone saying in the first term that "If he took a shit at the Resolute Desk they'd still defend him."

Then it literally happened. And they did.

I had a dog that was a cat. She wanted affection, but it had to be her idea. And ONLY her idea. She could be walking up to the couch to hop in your lap, and if you saw it and invited her up she'd turn around and walk away, because she did NOT answer to your commands.

But then you'd be watching the TV and notice that you were petting the dog, and have no idea when she'd snuck alongside you for her cuddling.

She also was super attached to her dog bed we'd made out of an old suitcase. She did whatever she could to stay in it.

Don't forget the part where Trump backed out of the horrible deal Obama made with Iran that involved 1.6 billion dollars going to Iran.

Now it's 300 billion, extra taxes on fuel that benefit the Iranian regime, thousands of people murdered, and America's international standing even further eroded.
