Immer schön, wenn solche Leute von "wir" sprechen und so suggerieren wollen, dass wir alle im selben Boot sitzen würden. Nein, tun wir nicht. Leute wie du machen null Anstalten, Arbeit irgendwie an die neue Zeit anzupassen, wundern sich dann, warum niemand mehr zu ihren scheiß Bedingungen arbeiten möchte und kommen dann mit noch frecheren Ideen um die Ecke.

openSUSE is one of the old desktop oriented distros. I find it somehow similar to the old glorious Mandrake (r.i.p.). Like it it's a European distro and both of them are relatively KDE centric and so also somehow similar to Windows. So the philosophy behind both of them is to be user friendly in the way you can do relatively much with the central configuration panel.

Both have their origin in Europe. openSUSE has its origins in Germany, that's why it is still very popular there. Mandrake had its roots im France.

I think so. GNOME is more an American thing what you can see from its similarities to the Mac OS desktop layout which is still not that popular in Europe. KDE is also a German project and more similar to the Windows layout. And Windows in the last time often steals ideas from KDE^^

That fixes the ads but still the official reddit app is a huge backstep from the now cutoff apps that made browsing reddit a pleasure. It's just a rippoff off all the terible algorihtm based Facebook, Twitter and Instagram apps that constantly show me posts that i've neither subscribed to nor I am interested to see. It's a shame.

Stochastik war der Schlüsselmoment bei mir, bei dem ich höhere Mathematik verstanden habe. Bei Analysis und Algebra schrieb ich erstmal nur eine schlechte Note nach der anderen, auch weil ich mich nicht wirklich ernsthaft mit dem Stoff beschäftigen wollte und so mehr und mehr den Anschluss verloren habe. Aber Stochastik habe ich auf Anhieb verstanden und so auch verstanden, wie ich an andere mathematische Fragestellungen wirklich herangehen muss.

Ich denke nicht, dass damit Anis gemeint sein könnte.

Du sagst es richtig. Die Zeit hat keine Ahnung. Aber marx21 sind nicht nur gewöhnliche Spinner, sondern Trotzkisten - genauso wie Klasse gegen Klasse oder Teile der Redaktion der Jungen Welt. Eine Methode des Trotzkismus ist übrigens Entrismus: Die Unterwanderung bzw. personelle Übernahme von Organisationen und Bewegungen. Angefangen habe ich ganz früher mal bei Google Notes bzw. dann ziemlich schnell Evernote, bis die ein ziemlich albernes und unpraktisches Gerätelimit eingeführt haben. Eher aus Mangel an ähnlichen Alternativen habe ich dann zwischendurch OneNote verwendet, bis ich dann endlich Notion entdeckt habe, welches sich am besten an meinen Workflow anpassen lässt.

I created accounts for both. I found the UI better but clearly the advantage of lemmy is to have apps already. Like in Linux choice is a great thing and if it makes the community bigger, why not? So peace and coexist!

Came here for this. Still impressed although I found the idea strange at first that a pwa could be the best way to browse lemmy.

I switched after getting into a boot stuck after an update. Don't regret it until now.
