I live in NYS. I had to pay $200+ out of pocket for the booster because my medical insurance would only cover vaccines administered by a doctor's office, and the booster was only distributed to pharmacies. My medical insurance does not cover ANY prescriptions because apparently it's an optional DLC now.

Only CVS and Walgreens were given the boosters too so they could set whatever price they wanted.

I don't know a single other adult other than my partner that paid out for the booster because it was so expensive. If my immune system worked I could play roulette with vaccines too, but it doesn't so I just continue to get my physical safety held hostage for more money.

Yeah, as an ex GS employee - GS does not have the profit margins on new games to do a sale like that on new games. Only used games get put on buy two get one sales, and those can be returned.

To be fair, my partner and I also looked totally bewildered by the things falling out of Trump's face. I don't know that he actually answered a single question, but rather spouted the same racist nonsense over and over.

I LOVE my e-bike. I just got a tern NBD and I can finally ride on my own with a bike that fits me even when my disability flares up and I am at my most limited.

Now that my bike time has increased dramatically I have noticed aggression towards me has also increased. I've had people yell slurs out of their car windows, people rev threateningly behind me when they couldn't pass, people speed around me through intersections, etc. Mostly I've noticed it from class traitors.

In my area especially people tie cars to freedom. Public transit is practically non-existent so kids and teenagers never ride a bus or a train and assume cars are the only way to get around. This seems to be especially strong among the lower and lower-middle classes, where people struggle to get and keep their cars, and seem to have an unhealthy emotional attachment to them.

If only there were a way to allow bikes on roads without directly impeding car traffic...

I am honestly surprised Starfield has done as well as it has. Fallout 4 will probably be the last Bethesda game I ever pay for unless they overhaul their entire business model. It's very clear from all of what happened to 76 and interviews from Todd that the creativity at Bethesda is dead. It's not gamers making games. It's executives wanting to print money. At this point I hesitate to pay for any AAA game.

While I don't disagree I think it's important to keep in mind that kids and teenagers aren't stupid - they are capable of understanding that you shouldn't allow a bad person to continue to be a bad person if you have a conversation about why what JKR is doing is bad. Most of the vocal pushback that I've experienced offline has actually come from teenagers.

The problem lies squarely with millennial parents who continue to buy books/movies/games/merch for themselves or their young children because of nostalgia. They are old enough to know better, and should be held responsible for their actions.

Currently cows are the main carrier of interest for one of the two strains of bird flu that are a concern in the US. The viral particles are being detected in their milk. Hence bird flu milk.

I won't stop protesting until we make actual progress. Trump/Musk out of office, and constitution amended to prevent this dumpster fire from ever happening again. Not until people can afford places to live, and food to eat. Not until health care is guaranteed for all, not just for those who can afford it.

We can't stop just because the government changes over. We deserve better.

I am absolutely grieving right now because of how much of the discourse following the debate is "BIDEN OLD". Both of them are old. I wish I had another option other than Biden, but at this point it's between him and a 34-time convicted felon that tried to throw a coup as soon as he was going to lose power and STILL will not admit he is wrong about the election results. Nor will he promise to honor the results of this upcoming election. There really isn't a choice here.

What a fucking failure our political system is.
