If I could easily do this on my desktop/laptop I legitimately might stop pirating media. I would also stop if the streaming companies just let me watch full quality and didn't take away what I purchased because the rights holder decided they want you to buy it again on another platform.

It would be hilarious if a random got that domain and threw a mastodon instance on it. They'll probably keep it though lol

I don't hate crust but I prefer the texture of a sandwich without the crust, so I eat most of the crust before eating the rest of the sandwich... I usually only do this when eating alone lol

Hi! Trans person here. Your heart is in the right place, but this post is poorly written. You haven't even given examples of how this is currently/could be applied. Some people are just that uneducated about trans people. If they're leading questions that invalidate us, sure. But otherwise what's the harm? For 196 there's no reason to ask about that stuff but the whole instance?? Your call in the end but I can think of a few ways this could go bad just from prior experience in other communities.

You have no idea what is going on in peoples's heads no matter what you decide it looks like from the outside ¯_ (ツ) _/¯

There are Arabic based programming languages, which is pretty interesting because right to left.

Generally though you need to know some English to learn the more widely used ones.

At this point I'm convinced meta either gets paid under the table to keep that shit, or (probably more likely) they make so much money off of the sheer volume of ai scam ads that they just don't care.

Bro what? No. Why can't we be mad at both the NSA and the fact that it's available to purchase?

Blocking someone so they can't counter your point doesn't mean you win an argument.

Also, internet shit isn't worth worrying about to this extent. Just try to move on and take comfort in the fact that the other person clearly cared about that exchange WAY more than you do.

Did you primarily doomscroll when you were on twitter? If so that's probably why it seems dead to you.

Mastodon feels empty because most people probably aren't using it as intended (following people you want in your timeline, following/using hashtags, etc). Also, it is empty compared to the popular platforms - they only have like 2M users which is a lot but not compared to Twitter or Threads.
