I'll not instantly switch ntfy.sh over. Instead, I'm kindly asking the community to test the Postgres support and report back to me if things are working
Fuck that.

i did just that a few minutes ago. closed my account and removed my one Plugin from the repo. if the statistics in wordpress.org are correct it was used by ~20k sites (though that number is hard to believe and seemed way too large for the usw case for a long time). It can still be found in github but will no longer get any updates since I haven't used wordpress myself for quite some time and with the current shitstorm i don't see a reason to invest any time in it.
There's also headscale, which is an open source backend for tailscale for self hosting.
This and the online-only are the reasons I no longer use onshape. While I don’t mind for a majority of my stuff to be public it just doesn’t make sense for everything and then you can’t even use it e.g on longer train rides without internet.
Since I'm getting downvoted and I'm genouinly curious, could someone explain how AI data centers are worse on a noise level than data centers for other purposes?
I'm not saying they are quiet, I just don't see which hardware for AI is so different from non-ai that it makes a big difference in noise production.
we can decide ourselfs if we want mac, windows or ubuntu (no other distro allowed). Our code runs in docker containers and except for the IDE our tools are web-based for the most part anyway, so it doesn't really matter which OS you use. though I heard there were quite a few issues with docker and Mac when the first M-chip Macs were used. it's a software company in Germany with ~150 people.
For me it’s the medium link. Nothing worse than clicking on a link on mobile just to see that paywall. On desktop I automatically redirect to an alternative fronted but that doesn’t work in the app.
Caves, especially sink holes and cenotes in mexico actually tend to have pretty clear water. The murkyness in water comes either from organic matter or silt. If there's no light there is no algae to limit visibility. If the cave has flow the silt is often carried away quickly. If there is no flow the silt will sink to the bottom, clearing up the visibility. Once the silt is disturbed (e.g. by a diver kicking their fin in the wrong direction) it can take a long time to settle again.
I was at a factory tour at ferrero with my school class 17 years ago. The smell was so bad that i still wont touch chocolate with very few exceptions today. Sometimes a piece with 95%+ cocoa is fine but i just cannot eat/enjoy the sweet milk chocolate anymore.
Yes, apparently they remove features if you don't use synology-branded drives.
thanks for using Leebra!
