+1 for avoiding dynamically constructed identifiers when possible. Fulltext search across multiple files is available in most tools, let it be useful. It sucks having to search for a substring, hoping you guessed the way it gets constructed. Plus, it might not even occur to you that this is what you need to try.

Not what the post is about, but finding my MX5 on a parking lot is getting increasingly difficult, yes.

Better send that money towards their drone production.

It has been a while since this appeared; I wonder if it picks up steam. Now or never?

I didn't expect to learn about Enya in this discussion. Thank you, kind sir!

Sounds like how the EU is usually doing this. Limit the companies, not the people directly.

My friend (looking to buy a house) used to say Surely the housing prices can't possibly grow any more! ... That was 10 years ago. The bubble is happily bubbling away...

Let's leave nuclear out of this, they look magnificent! In our area, the nuclear power plant is a photo point / trip destination. The surrounding nature is very healthy thanks to the strict regulations.

GTX 770 here!

Our commie blocks in East Europe tend to get colorful when their owners (either the city or the dwelers) decide to insulate the facade, which often happens across a whole district in a short time. Random image to ilustrate.

Can't imagine the rash you'd get from this.

Not sure. I'm still surprised things are so calm, considering the widespread availability of guns in the population.

Endless knife for an endless pizza. Nice.

I like and support the idea in general, but the petition's scope is just too broad and lacks focus. Migrating to Linux? Sure, but let's not force a single distribution across the EU. New EU mobile OS? Nice idea, but there is no solid alternative unless a lot of time and money is spent on developing it.

I genuinely wonder if rust helps guarding against slop coding vulnerabilities, at least statistically.

They lose some of their sound, literally. This is very audible with the mandolin, it gets quite muted as the strings age. What a difference when you change them.

Let's hope we don't have to start signing again from zero!

...the suspense is killing me! What is it?

This. I was putting a lot of hope into the PinePhone, but the effort required to 1) make it at least barely usable and then 2) keep it that way across updates is just too huge.

And believe me, I tried back then. Even as a software developer, I couldn't live with it, making all the possible sacrifices. After more than a year of struggles I just got a Pixel 7 and couldn't be happier to this day.

Thanks! Just got it now, great SteamDeck content.
