CGPgrey used to upload 3 videos a year that are a combined 30 minutes, half his new videos are members only, half of his older videos are now behind a paywall too, his last video on patreon is an "early release" that is still behind a paywall. He just dropped hello internet with no notice and cortex with a "hiatus". He's not making anything new but he's still running a patreon which was originally "only charging on video release to keep him honest" but is now a monthly subscription. He's also been open about his favorite goodbye is the "Irish goodbye" so I think he's just done now.

A lot of people who grew up with it do like it (it does hold a weird nostalgic spot for me too), and you can actually blame either the Wii's specs and/or management at Sega for it being as poorly held together as it is.
