Reddit is largely the same. I understand caring deeply for a game, wanting it to be the best it can be, I also have major grips with Blizzard as a company, but damn, D4 released very well, there's no denying that.

Tried Mastodon after Twitter fiasco, seemed like an okay experience, but in the end, it lacked what's most important about any such site: the people. A lot of people I followed on Twitter just didn't make the transition (some did), so after a while of not really seeing content I was used to see, I drifted away.

To be honest, I can imagine Lemmy could follow the same pattern (for me, personally, not in general). Even though it's off to a good start after I already found /r/patientgamers alternative here. Now I would love some equivalent of /r/soccer and I think I could make Lemmy my new home.

End of an era - I can't see Kane not going now. Hard to swallow, he's phenomenal player and will leave a big hole to fill in the team. The big reset is truly on now - new coach, completely different tactics. If Spurs have to adapt after losing their talisman, now is the best time I guess.

Headphones absolutely mandatory. Hellblade is the first title that came to mind seeing this thread.

Hellblade was already mentioned (prime example imho), so I'd give shoutout to the entire Supergiant's game catalogue. So much time and effort went into sound design and music in all their games, it's remarkable.

There was no US destabilising Ukraine, there was no coup, those are taken right from the Kremlin book of propaganda.

There were civil society protests in Ukraine in 2014 to oppose government's withdrawal from EU talks. Ukrainian government, then backed by Russia, used brutal force against civilians while Russia "secretly" and illegally annexed Crimea (as always with them, firstly not acknowledging anything, using so called little green men, russian soldiers without proper markings, who later got medals for it).

At he same time, Russia invaded Donbas, again "secretly", talking about "civil war", but it was no civil war. The so called separatists were controlled by Moscow, supplied heavy weapons and even commanders by Moscow.

Eight years later, they invaded massively and openly, bz make no mistake, Russia's attempt to destroy and landgrab Ukraine lasts way longer than that.

I wanted to play as a bear, so I am playing as a druid, simple as. Am I weak, am I strong? How the hell should I know, I haven't played a different class yet! Just enjoying the game as it is and it's brilliant.

I was in a similar boat as you during the spring sale - have a powerful desktop, was pondering getting the deck. Decided to go for it and to be brutally honest, it's mostly a new shiny toy, not a revolution - which is absolutely fine enough.

I am excited about it, enjoy using it very much (on a long train/bus ride, on couch/in bed), but I don't use it every day, it hasn't been some miraculous revelation. However, it built a new clear division for my library: on one hand smaller, less demanding games I now save exclusively for handheld experience (thanks to this I already tried some games I probably wouldn't on PC, at least not in near future), on the other for big, graphically marvelous games still prefer a big screen.

Also, if the desktop goes unexpectedly tits up some day, it's nice to know I have an emergency solution in the form of the deck.

I was really surprised to see this news, considering Klopp already talked like it'd been completely done. Wild saga...

Hollow Knight - started last week and got through initial frustration, now I'm enjoying it and expect to love it by the end!

Gutted. Was expecting it, but it still hurts, it's not like any other departure. All the best Harry!

Incredible, strong interview. Always thought calling Dele lazy was unfair, he really seemed to lost his passion and spark for football. I wish he really finds it again and hell, I would love to see him return to Spurs and kill under Ange.

Seconding It Takes Two, a fantastic game. Played with GF who's not gamer at all, enjoyed the hell out of it.

Yeah, it's madness, I feel like SMS was the hottest prospect/elite player forever now, so many clubs linked to him only for him to end up in Saudi Arabia...

Highlight to my trip to Japan if I may exaggerate a bit :D Incredible comfort, heated seats, sounds of nature if you like... Can't believe they're not more prominent outside of Japan.

Holy crap, this community really went nuts while I was asleep! Cheers for setting up bots and stickied, much appreciated <3

Let's now hope that human interaction will soon follow and we won't drown in a sea of bots :D

Oh my, first day on Lemmy and this is already a music to my ears!

Let's get this done, Raya is a fantastic keeper, would be a brilliant way to open the transfer window with.

Considering Chelsea's contract lengths, it's no wonder players chose them. No matter what happens - bad form, injuries - they're set for majority of their careers.

It also has the potential to massively backfire for Chelsea, we'll have to wait and see.

Much better than on Reddit! Love it with replays, thanks a lot to everyone who's putting the work in!

As if there's not enough drama already!
