You seem to have neglected the most important one: privilege.

Millions of Americans are stuck in a cycle of generational poverty. Really difficult to manage even the first one when you're grinding to just put food on the table daily, and that's the reality for 46 million Americans right now.

This ultra-priviliged, ignorant "you just gotta grind for it" attitude is literally what this meme is making fun of. Congrats on being the butt of the joke and doubling down on it.

Somehow I highly doubt your mom spent 1/3 of her pre-tax income to send you to private school. And based on how much she paid for it, I assume you went to private school in the 80s. The median family wage these days can't afford rent, much less $15-20,000 a year private schools, which by the way is what they cost this century. And if my assumption is correct about you growing up in the 80s, that $15,000 a year is the equivalent of nearly $59,000 a year today - higher than the median family wage, so not quite dirt poor.

Banning abortion doesn't stop abortion, it just shifts it to a black market where women are far more likely to die.

What does demonstrably reduce abortion to effectively insignificant levels is better sex education and easy access to contraceptives.

Prohibition has never worked. Education always has.

It's a hell of a lot easier to disable than it is to enable, especially if you're not disabled. It's a minor inconvenience once for us, but enabling it could be exceedingly difficult to overcome for someone else.

Practically speaking, yes, 99.99999% of creatures wouldn't last a literal second against Bahamut, but gods in the Faerun pantheon are not omnipotent, or invincible. He could be harmed or even killed, but there are very few creatures who could do it. A large party of level 20 adventurers could possibly pull it off, but at that level they're effectively demigods in their own right.

Or Ao could just decide to replace him or give his portfolio to another lawful good god, snap his fingers, and even Bahamut would instantly pop out of existence.

I don't think most people realize how small coyotes actually are. Depending on the type, coyotes weigh on average 25-35 pounds, with the largest males not topping 45 pounds. The smallest male Great Pyrenees weigh 100 pounds, and can get up to 160 pounds. Those coyotes didn't stand a chance, didn't matter he was outnumbered 10 to 1. Imagine the average adult male versus ten five-year-olds. They might do a little damage, but they don't stand a chance of winning.

Lemmy is a much closer analog to Reddit than Mastodon is for Twitter. While Mastodon has similar basic functionality to Twitter, it lacks a lot of the features that make it easy to find new content and new people to follow.

Pair that with some very polished third-party mobile reddit apps with large, loyal followings transitioning to Lemmy and it became way easier to abandon reddit for Lemmy than it was to leave Twitter for Mastodon. I'm a huge open source supporter, but the average user doesn't care about FOSS or open source software. They want something that looks nice and just works.

To be clear, the text in the bottom half of this meme is 100% accurate, though rarely, if ever, spoken out loud. When you approached The Hole, you'd briefly exchange glances with the other diggers, they'd nod, silently acknowledging a new ally and, without a word, affirming "you know what to do."

I'm a huge Linux supporter. I maintain an infrastructure of thousands of Linux servers, don't have a single Windows install. My work laptop runs Linux, the only one in the company not on Windows or OS X. I have a mini-PC proxmox setup running a bunch of VMs for different services like pihole, FoundryVTT, NVR, etc. I use Linux for everything except my gaming PC.

And even I find the Linux fanboys absolutely intolerable. Go ask a question in @tech and any possibility of an actual helpful answer is drowned by hundreds of "Install Linux" comments that are all up voted to the top. The entirety of some of the most popular communities are completely worthless because of zealots like them.

Chimpanzees get up to five feet tall and have up to an 8 foot wingspan. The average human female is 5'4 "and males average 5'9" with a proportional wingspan. Chimps have a very high amount of fast twitch muscle fibers which are significantly stronger than the slow twitch muscle fibers that make up the majority of human muscles.

Chimps have extremely long arms with way more lean muscle mass. And that muscle mass is 50% stronger than a human's, making chimps 3-4 times stronger than the average human. It has massive incisors with a bite force of *** 1300 psi (8900 kPa}***. That's more than a grizzly bear's 950 psi.

You have a fighting chance against a wolf. You have zero chance unarmed against a full grown chimp. It will literally rip you apart with ease.

This is just bullshit GOP deflection whenever someone calls it what it is.The AR in AR-15 may stand for Armalite, but an AR-15 is still an assault rifle.

The U.S. Army defines assault rifles as "short, compact, selective-fire weapons that fire a cartridge intermediate in power between submachine gun and rifle cartridges.

And

...examples of intermediate cartridges are the 7.92×33mm Kurz, the 7.62×39mm and 5.56×45mm NATO.

There are over one billion English speakers on this planet and only 1/3 of them are American, where the rhyme originates. So an American asking someone who has never heard the song before where they're from is a valid question for the other 700,000 English speaking humans from the 8+ countries where English is the most common language.

Because 95% of those people work with Linux, but not in it. OS X is BSD-based but close enough to make developing or supporting Linux machines simple. My entire infrastructure, thousands of servers, are all Linux, but most of the time I'm working on my Windows PC, and only occasionally do I break out my Macbook or Linux laptop. Love Linux, can't stand Apple, and I'm meh about MS except for gaming, but Linux as a desktop/workstation OS is still years behind OS X and Windows in ease of use. That said, I do not nor would I ever run either of those in any production capacity, just Linux.

The odds for lots of sports betting literally change based on the bets made. Bookies, legitimate or not, shift the line and odds to account for the money on the line - they're never going to lose money if they can help it. The house always wins.
