Even if this is the case physical used is going to be the cheapest.

I haven’t taken it in years, but it wasn’t so much hard as antagonistic. I’ve taken a lot of different tests in different subjects over the years and none seemed as hellbent on putting in wrong answers that were so close to being correct as this one.
Yes but US conservatives don’t seem to know it.
Would’ve been better if you had used a photo with an actual tree instead of a rock.
It’s too hot for that and I don’t think Google should control what people wear.
Companies have been pushing that for many years because they wanted wages down.
This is all payback for the power the workers gained during the pandemic.
To be clear: these are phishing techniques. They aren’t breaking the encryption, they’re getting the user to let them in.
Sure sounds like Musk is ordering firings, despite the article I saw today saying it’s up to the cabinet and DOGE only makes recommendations.
Big mainstream games that are heavy on sex, like Baldur's Gate 3, are a recent phenomenon.
Heavy on sex? Just which mods did the author install?
Or we can just go after the platforms for knowingly manipulating everyone. And for their invasive data collection. This is probably one reason why Meta spent more on lobbying (primarily for age verification) than Boeing and Lockheed Martin did on lobbying last year. Once the kids are identified, no one gives a shit about the adults so the problem (for them) just fades away.
Lost in the noise of the story is that Salt Typhoon has proved that the decades of warnings by the internet security community were correct. No mandated secret or proprietary access to technology products is likely to remain undiscovered or used only by “the good guys” – and efforts to require them are likely to backfire.
So it’s somewhat ironic that one of the countermeasures recommended by the government to guard against Salt Typhoon spying is to use strongly encrypted services for phone calls and text messages – encryption capabilities that it has spent decades trying to undermine so that only “the good guys” can use it.
I think US customs said it was because he admitted to using drugs in the past and had photos of a paraphernalia on his phone. He said they ignored that stuff and focused on the photo. So it comes down to whether you think one specific customs employee could potentially see something they don’t like and choose to refuse entry for another reason or that customs is being honest and open about the reason his entry was refused and that the people making the announcement fully understand the situation (including the thoughts of the person that examined the photos).
I feel like the latter is unlikely, but I don’t have enough evidence to say either way. I don’t think drug paraphernalia in a photo or admitting past drug use are good reasons to refuse entry either.
The messed up thing about this is that the original image was talking about some random project being maintained by one person in their spare time. This is about a $69 billion company
93% vs 77% doesn’t strike me as polarized. 16% difference?
77% doesn’t even seem that bad if it’s a style of game I like. From about 2001 I used to see sci fi movies that looked interesting as long as they had at least a 25% Rotten Tomatoes score because my tastes were different.
Is there something I’m missing? I haven’t played either game and I haven’t looked at reviews. Won’t buy KCD (no character creation) and probably will eventually buy Avowed.
I think there have been businesses trying to get it shut down for years because they want to sell the data rather than giving it out for free. I forget which ones, but I’d swear I read about this years ago.
Just did a quick search with no luck, but apparently it’s part of Project 2025 to commercialize it or get rid of it.
More than nothing. They caused a lot of people distress and anxiety. Maybe put some people into debt.
They also gained a heavy blue turnout in the last election then immediately capitulate as planned.
Fucking assholes.
It should have an account creation process like those old RPGs where it asks a series of questions then says, “we recommend this server: . It is ” then has click next to proceed or click “I want to choose another server” to just get a list.
1-hate, 5-love Do you like capitalism? Do you like tech? Do you like sports? Would you prefer a large server? etc
It should also be possible to skip the quiz and go straight to server selection at any point.
Shingles can get in your eyes and cause you to go blind, too.
One of my most vivid memories of waking up at night, I looked down towards my feet and there was a dark, spider-shaped shadow about the size of a dachshund. I looked at it for a second, then there was a flurry of movement from its legs as it rushed up towards my face. I jumped out of bed and threw the covers at it, then hit the lights. Nothing was there.
