Fedora didn't do anything to Libreoffice. Red Hat had been the maintainer for the Libreoffice packages in Fedora up until a couple of weeks ago. The package became an orphan, and without anyone to maintain it, would end up being dropped from the distribution. For the time being, it looks like some people from the community have stepped up to maintain Libreoffice in Fedora.

So unless something happens and the current maintainers are unable to keep up, nothing should happen to Libreoffice in Fedora.

I've seen OpenMW mentioned (and it's fantastic), but you might want to check out Daggerfall Unity as well. The game's available at no cost, and you can find a zip of the necessary game files on the install guide in the dfworkshop forums.

It's way better than the old DOS version, and it supports mods, too.

You can actually tell KDE to use a window manager other than KWin. I've used i3 with KDE like this in the past, and it's pretty good as long as you tweak the i3 config a bit. Somebody wrote a guide here with the necessary config changes.

Little disclaimer: I've not done this in years, but the linked guide was update recently so I believe it should still work ok.

I've completed several playthroughs of Morrowind on OpenMW, and I've found it to be superior to the original engine in every way. The only thing that you might have issues with is certain mods may not be compatible with it, but I don't really use mods.

Daggerfall's a huge game, but it gives you a ton of freedom in how you play. Once you figure out the basics, it's a great dungeon diving experience. Although the procedurally generated dungeons aren't everyone's cup of tea, since they can get pretty crazy sometimes. I would highly recommend a teleportation spell (mark/recall all-in-one).

I currently have a server running dnsmasq just for DHCP/local DNS, and have it set with Adguard Home as its upstream servers. That way I can set up custom blocklists, and have local resolution as well.

Maybe try out Kingdoms of Amalur? I don't know if it's quite in the same spot for me, but it's pretty similar in a lot of ways.

I use hexchat, and it's still a great client.
