People here seem weirdly confused about the term "feminicide": it means homicide motivated by misogyny. It's a subset of hate crimes.

They exist in all western societies I'm aware of, if you're confused it's probably only because you're unused to thinking of women as a protected class and hate for women as aggravating circumstances, the way hate for any race of religion is in most legal systems.

Yes they're 50% of the population, but also yes they're disproportionately the targets of violence because misogyny exists. Yet they are rarely treated as such in many legal systems.

It means the murder of a woman motivated by misogyny. It is a subset of homicide and also a subset of hate crimes. It can be thought of as recognizing misogyny as a motive of hate and thus an aggravating circumstance to a homicide, and women as a protected class. Killing a trans woman or a trans man could very well get a "transphobia" label for a double hate crime, depending on the motives that get established. This is not as complicated as you seem to believe.

Why is the mercury arc rectifier getting a "what the fuck"? I don't know much about them, are they more magic than glowing rocks, runes, levitation and demon cores?

Really? Again? I already disproved that take of yours in another thread, and you're still on about that bullshit even though your own source disproves your claim literally in its first sentence?

The citation you're contradicting is from an actual real-life, respected biologist who wrote peer-reviewed scientific articles. Who are you? Where are you getting these facts from, since they're nowhere to be found in your source? Are you really that deep in the Dunning-Kruger valley? or are you trying to hide some sort of message in ignorance too solid to be genuine?

Please, being mistaken isn't a crime but at least try to learn

Edit because I can't reply to a comment that was moderated out: Saying "again" when you're spouting the same nonsense again is not a tactic, it's just frustration. What is a tactic is cherry picking the parts of an article to present only one side of a debate, in order to refute another argument than the one put to you.

I didn't speak about the offensiveness or not of the term DSD here. I can at most think I would be or not, but I'm not qualified to know whether I would be offended. What I am talking about is reading, which I am qualified to do. There are three definitions of biological sex mentioned in the very first sentence of the article, none of which refer to gamete size which is a fourth one. I could also add the part where not all the DSD listed can be said to be male or female, and the ones who can actually use the chromosomal definition.

But I guess consistency is only for true believers, actual truth seekers like you neglect all that and keep repeating bad approximations as if they were facts because it feels good when the world is simple.

Maybe I'm not fully awake, but I don't understand how that stat could be calculated. How the hell would anyone know the kinks at play in a representative subset of all abusive relationship that have ended in murder?

When you mix paint, you mix pigments that each absorb certain colors, so they won't reflect it. You're subtracting colors to the ambient white light that reflects a smaller and smaller portion of the spectrum on the painted surface, and if you mix enough colors you substract most of it and get a dark brown or even black. When you encode rgb values for a screen, you tell pixels to add colors to the light your screen is generating, and if you add enough you get a white light.

Feminicide means murder motivated by hate for women, also known as misogyny. If you kill your gran to get the inheritance and don't have a family chat calling her a dumb broad that doesn't deserve to be richer than the males of your line you're only liable for regular murder

This just dawned on me not long ago. Like how does someone write the character of Lucius Malfoy and then go "what if I used my tremendous wealth and influence to lobby ceaselessly against people who transitioned into my category from the more dominant one, and who already tend to be discriminated against violently as a result? I could maybe use a theatrical rhetoric of victimization to distract from my very shady alliances."

Like wtf lady you know that makes you the bad guy you literally wrote a series of books explaining it to children.

As much as I'm not into pee fetishes, I'd be really uncomfortable lumping nice weirdos who like to consensually urinate on each other in the privacy of their homes, with a piece of human garbage who takes sexual pleasure in humiliating women who're just there for an already pretty stressful job interview. It sounds like the fetish is more in the layers upon layers of domination and humiliation than in the pee itself, and that's way more disgusting to me.

I don't know about this Milhouse business, but he did have some very salient points: that time he gushed blood uncontrollably from his neck and died has raised serious doubt in my previously staunch anti-gun disposition. Now I have to manually remind myself that most gun violence victims are unfortunately not Charlie Kirk.
