The best reddit control to block ads is too not use Reddit lol. The second best is ublock origin. I've been using method two since like 2013 and have zero issues or regrets.

Absolutely not lol. Millions of people will buy it for their consoles day one, and then again three years later when it comes to PC.
That's cool and all, but who exactly is gonna watch it? Like it's a fine idea, but there's literately no point.
Thanks for this heads up, just canceled my sub.
I bought my black and white brother laser printer in 2018. I'm still using the same printer and the sample toner it came with in 2024. Literally zero issues ever, still prints fantastically. I just send it a print job once every 3-4 months and get a paper out of it with no fuss.
Every time I read "block chain" in relation to anything on the Web, 99.9% of the time is complete garbage used to try and make as much money as possible. Your description of their "service" reinforces my opinion.
From you distros package manager
God, silksong is such a tease. Every time I see it mentioned or see a clip I always get excited, only to end up puting on my clown shoes and nose :(
One day I'll have you my sweet shaw, one day......
This site feels like reddit from ~2010. IE back before all the monetization and add bullshit.
Come to linux, we have the ability to update every 10 seconds or never, entirely your choice.
Windows 11 is ok, just like windows 10 was ok. It's not great, but it's not satan's asshole like some people make it out to be. Most use it because they don't really have a choice due to software constraints, or simply because they've been using windows for forever and that's all they know.
Personally I use linux because I like it more, though I still have a windows install for flightsimming. I think that it's a perfectly fine operating system for the 80-90% of people who don't care and just want their computer to be an appliance to get on social media or get work done.
Look you're not really living life unless something explodes on your system at least once a year and you have to go fucking around with a tty prompt.
You could also just find the promps online and paste them in.
Either that or so fucking stupid that interacting with them wouldn't be worth my time. I honestly used to believe what originallucifer said, but after this election i've been thoroughly and completely radicalized.
Because no one knows it exists lmao
Back when it was useful for reddit I remember thinking one time "Huh, it's been a while since this app updated, wonder whats up?" Only to visit the subreddit and find out that he's scrapped the last updated and has been awol for months lmao. Somethings never change.
Still a great app, use it every day.
Been doing my part since October last year, have no intention to stop. Linux is awesome!
No they wont lol. Killing yourself will accomplish literally nothing. In fact, it would make things worse cause of all the fuckers that want you dead. Keep living to spite them, it's what I do.
I've done a lot of de-enshitification in my digital life over the past year, most recently by de-google my phone. I'm going to be honest: It's not easy, nor convenient, and a lot of the time not cheap. You really have to go out of your way to get what you want, sacrificing at least something a long the way (features, usability, etc). It takes quite a bit of desire and determination to move away from the modern garbage that these companies shove your way, and I'm honestly not sure if it's worth it for the average person because of the massive amount of effort that it takes.
All of the above is to say that if you really want to avoid enshitification you're gonna have to make changes, such as buying a different set of peripherals for your pc, and that it's not gonna be easy. The real question is: is all of that work worth it for you?
For me it 100% has been.
