That is a great point.

The SP500 refused to allow SpaceX in on an accelerated schedule, so its usually vetting process would still apply (12 months of public trading, positive earnings for a period of time, etc).

So right now, SP500 is one index fund that isn’t taking a risk on SpaceX, which I, in my tiny knowledge of stocks and finance, appreciate.

Hooray for being too old to give a shit! Retired mobile developer here; I have people regularly show me how to do things like tap-and-hold the space bar to position the cursor. I’d rather be outside going for a hike than fooling around with my phone, of all things.

Does anyone know what the monthly fee for heated seats was? And what the permanent on option cost?

I ran a 1.87 mile race yesterday. Averaged 15 minute miles. I think I could probably have walked faster?

A heavy pre-session of foam roller on the right IT band; focus on “active running” as my shoe guy calls it, that is, favoring mid-foot instead of heel striking; focusing on taking smaller strides because I’m freakishly tall and my natural stride crushes my puny knees; belly button pulled back and core tight; head pulled up as if a marionette on a string. Epi pen in one hand, kuz the wasps have been in expert mode the past few weeks. Crappy old iPhone in the other — maybe I’ll accidentally drop it and have a good reason to buy the shiny new 15 — and yep, that was me, a shadow of my former past, racing away from knee, back, and flexibility problems that have kept me on the couch for so many years. I’m up to about two miles a week now with minimal knee pain. Hoping some day to make it to 3.
