You advertise to your audience. Ads targeting the perverse and the stupid seem perfectly suited to twitter.

The werewolf I understand entirely. They’re both awkward, horny kids trying to find their place. The century old vampire creeping on a teenager is where it gets weird.

It takes a truly weak man to quake at the mere existence of a dommy mommy.

What an awful day to be literate.

“Son, I’m profoundly disappointed. I raised you not to stoop to such awful perversion. You’ve managed to ignore the rule of thirds and even moved the focus from your eyes. Hand me the camera so we can do this right.”

To the user in this community who argued that adblockers are killing the internet, lol. Lmao, even. Enjoy your attack vector, buddy.

I’m seeing a lot of Newsweek posted here and that is disheartening, to say the least. Newsweek is half a step from the dailymail’s level of bombastic misrepresentation. Continued use of Newsweek as a source is not ideal as a result.

The entire premise is fake, but that stupid fake manager is still driving up my blood pressure.

This was intentional. Tech companies force people back to the office in order to cull employees. IBM is infamous for getting 20+ year employees to quit in order to deny retirement benefits. Grindr is using a time tested method.

Asking about the one piece anime is a good litmus test for potential friends. If they hate it, they have decent taste. If they like it, they’ll probably accept my extended, meandering tangents.

It’s a safe space and the fediverse rapidly expanded tenfold. Beehaw has stated outright that they want to refederate with the big instances, but are delaying until mod tools improve enough to allow them to maintain their safe space for their gaggle of vulnerable folks in the wake of the severely increased workload.

An adjacent question that you brought to mind, why are people so intent on using “apps” for everything. It feels as if browsers have been all but forgotten despite filling the same role, but often better.

Fun fact, lead is delicious and counts itself among the most historically accepted forbidden snacks. Wine, in veggies absorbed through fertilizer, dissolved in solution, lead can be, and has been, enjoyed many ways.

This is vaguely tangential but some of my best friends were illegal aliens raised entirely within the US. They’re as American as any other American, but know how to use cumin. Moreover, the US has already invested millions for their education from childhood to adulthood- they’re all skilled, educated individuals and a boon to the US. It makes no sense to send off a US citizen for the sake of bureaucracy. To phrase this another way, eat the entirety of my ass, Nixon.

The saying is “reduce, reuse, recycle” for a reason. It’s in order of impact, with recycling being low impact and reactive and reducing being high impact and proactive.

No, a PATRIOT who was MURDERED by the GOVERNMENT. I’m going to EMPHASIZE words by CAPITALIZING them and occasionally bolding them like a fifth grade POWERPOINT presentation, because my AUDIENCE has the attention span of a GUPPY suffering from COCAINE WITHDRAWAL. SAD

If they exclusively targeted larger companies, they’d be fine with me. Generally, the way they operate is to first strike smaller, more vulnerable companies to build their case before suing a larger one. Patent reform can’t come soon enough.
