A special thanks to all those around the world who are taking an interest in Mastodon for Harris-Walz. Your boosts and encouragement are wonderful. (Do note
though that only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents may donate to the fundraiser. That’s a requirement of U.S. campaign finance law.) 5/ https://secure.actblue.com/... @kamalaharrisforpresidentnews

I will continue to update about Mastodon for Harris-Walz progress. Much of the time, but not always, I will hashtag updates with #MFHW, to promote ease of following or filtering.

For those who want to turn their attention to down ballot and state races, I have updated a companion page to https://secure.actblue.com/..., the Mastodon Blue Wave page, https://secure.actblue.com/donate/mastodonbluewave. 2/

I am continuing my outreach to the #HarrisWalz campaign. Tomorrow, I have a meeting with people in Democratic politics (being vague to protect their privacy) to discuss the success of our fundraiser. Again, let me remind everybody that the campaign staff is exceedingly busy right now.4/

@DWTSquawk7600 looks good! @scott @kamalaharrisforpresidentnews

@charvaka Thank you! Any help with banner would be most welcome. Looking for something similar but without the official mastodon icon. I have been playing around with Canva and Sketch but can take accept any format other than adobe restricted. @kamalaharrisforpresidentnews

@steve Organizwr @Tchambers is trying to identify somebody to help him with onboarding and moderation. Would you be interested? @kamalaharrisforpresidentnews

I'm also working with my contacts among activists and electeds in New Mexico. Part of my pitch to them is for the state Democratic Party and progressive organizations to get on Mastodon. So one unintended benefit of Mastodon for Harris may be to increase the presence of U.S. progressivism in the Fediverse more generally. 2/
