Why do we have such a toxic culture of making work "fun"?? What the hell is wrong with people? Why can't we just do work, go home and have your own kind of fun with other people you enjoy being around???

Afternoon peoples and thank you for all the kind words last night again. It's self care day. I haven't even finished lunch but I'm hell bent on fitting a basque cheesecake and a cuppa in. I think that will really fix me up and get me started for a new week.

I'm naive AF and I probably treat people with too much trust but I've recently seen some pretty ugly stuff at work. People who are nice to your face but will throw you under the bus as soon as you turn your back because you mean nothing to them. It's disgusting and I'm losing faith in humanity.

Ending the week on a positive note. I wasn't expecting it but I feel like I've finally made progress this week. Still lots on the list to do and learn but it's nice to feel that I'm getting somewhere. 💪

Anyone find that retailers are not picking up phones anymore (goes straight to voicemail or hangs up)? These are large retailers like kmart too. I feel like this started happening after the pandemic. Or is it just me?

PSA to check your hot water bottles for leaks. I got into a wet bed last night and realised mine had wet itself. Thankfully I actually didn't refill it last night so it was left from the previous night and must have just seeped through some very minor crack in the rubber.

Damn. Kinda regret not getting those After Eight dinner mints but I'm sure if I did get them I'd regret it too.
