Oof that's brutal. Didn't realize it was that bad.

There's a lot of small instances wanting to become medium/big instances and share the load, but people need to show a bit of initiative and join them. I just made this account, and here's a list of a few other small servers with room to spare. YMMV but these all look pretty solid at a glance.

Lovely. What city?

I can see the image, but the transcription still helps to clarify the meaning.

Word. That's rough that you can't see the instance, on my phone I can almost see the entire @imaqtpie@lemmy.villa-straylight.social, except for the last two letters. I do have 20/20 vision and probably use a smaller font size. I also have a large screen.

Hey guys. Cool instance you have here, looking forward to watching it grow. I haven't yet read Neuromancer but I'll get right on it 😁

Nice fast upgrade, thanks

The distinction between projected and guaranteed is irrelevant when you're projected to make a billion dollars. The Barbie IP, paired with the cast and crew, was an absolute juggernaut from the beginning.

You're correct in that everything ultimately stems from capitalism, but in this particular instance, certain producers could have made less greedy decisions and the film would have been better for it.

That's what this discussion is supposed to be about. You're kind of talking past OP.

TIL. When it comes to compound words, Germans really are the master race.

You can transfer your subscriptions using this tool, but your posts and comments obviously can't be transferred.

At least that's what I've been told, I haven't used it myself.

Where do you see that in the app?
