24k!? Dang. I'm really hoping that contributes to the activity over here. Lemmy provides a similar enough experience that, as long as the people come, it'll be comparable to Reddit for sure.
One question I've been curious about: is your goal to make Sync for Lemmy as close as possible to the same experience as Sync for Reddit, minus any changes that are inherently different between Reddit and Lemmy?
I use Steam ROM Manager to add my games to Steam and it works wonderfully.
Tbh, I've got tipping rage. I breeze past the tip screen, and even this article that's sympathetic to tipping culture won't change my mindset. I'm being asked to tip for things that never asked for one before the pandemic, all while the prices of the goods have gone up. I'm already paying more for the food/goods. How dare you ask for more? I'm tired of being fleeced for even more money. If you didn't do anything beyond your job to prepare my order, and you're not actively waiting on me at a sit down restaurant, then I pay the cost of the good. If your employer isn't paying you enough, take it up with them.
ROG Ally owner here - I come in peace. I know many ROG Ally users in r/rogally were reporting they purchased a Sabrent SSD to throw in their Allies (is that the plural?) and I hadn't seen any reports of issues there, for what it's worth.
I don't think the size of Reddit was, itself, responsible for the deterioration, but it did attract bad actors and those not acting in good faith – the bots, reposters, karma whores, etc. It's an unfortunate side effect that's hard to guard against when these actors see a huge platform and an opportunity to take advantage and manipulate it.
You've described the exact situation I find myself in: long-time Sync user, using Connect (and honestly enjoying and appreciating it) but anxiously awaiting Sync for Lemmy.
I mean, I can't really tell you why, but I'm fascinated by this incident, so I'm interested in the stories that come out with new information.
I can't seem to find wefwef in the play store. Is it there or does one need to side load it.
I'm dumb. You gotta go to the GitHub and go to the app in the web https://wefwef.app and "install" it.
It seems to think my account on Lemmy.world doesn't exist and won't load posts.
I've tried Jerboa, Liftoff, and Connect, and so far Connect is my favorite. Definitely waiting with anticipation for Sync for Lemmy, though.
Oh my gosh thank you so much. No amount of googling "lemme disable autofeed" brought up anything even acknowledging this issue.
Been playing Metroid Dread. Those EMMI robots haunt my dreams.
Excited for him to have a fresh start.
It just seems like prolonging the inevitable. Soon as Sync for Reddit stops working and then again when Sync for Lemmy releases my Lemmy usage will jump quite a bit.
"Give him the business!"
"Business being given!"
That was great. Genuinely made me laugh.
I think there have been reports that it does not have the tapered glass screen around the edges, but rather, a flat screen. These images appear to confirm that.
Was gonna say this. Glad I wasn't the only one encountering this issue with the links.
Currently watching RSL vs Toronto hoping RSL doesn't fall victim to the be coach bump. So far, RSL having plenty of chances, but unable to convert.
This is my understanding as well. Always thought that if I were to develop an app that I wanted to release far and wide, I'd choose Flutter.
Hmm that link doesn't appear to work for me
thanks for using Leebra!
