Had a pretentious dinner with my partner and we had beautiful chats, got home in time to watch some silly shows together.
Turning 40 half our ago ain't so bad! Still breaks my brain, but here's to the next 40.

Does anyone know how long you're allowed to stretch out your turning 40 mid life crisis? I'm down to less than 23 hours until that awful meaningless day but still kinda wanna push it out a little longer.
Please can I go back to my dream I just woke from? I had just bought a bubblegum iced pastry that had 100s and 1000s on it and was in the process of buying a rotisserie goose sandwich.
I've never tried goose.
Yesterday I noticed that the Aussie version of The Office was out so I'm guessing the NDA isn't applicable any more. But damn you Amazon Preview for making me suffer through a whole test episode of that just so that I could fill out the qualtrics survey demanding they never subject me to that trash ever again.
Going to Uni does also delay the lifelong 9-5 grind, I'd recommended it based purely on that, but you do get a piece of paper at the end that can give you a leg up and maybe more money if you picked something useful.
It's done.
Finally, the gardening project I've been working on since the start of December is complete with everything I have available (still waiting on two citrus trees).
120+ plants (of which ~90 are chillies). At least a couple of hundred meters of piping have been laid for the irrigation system. Also then extended the irrigation system to also include the two garden beds and solve a pressure problem in zone 1 with an additional output.
So many hours. Now I just need to tidy up, but that can wait until the New Year right?
Edit: forgot to add that as a renter and not technically able to make holes etc the project had significant additional complexity (I should also add our landlords are lovely and defo wouldn't have minded some drilling, but I know they'd have been round helping do everything if I asked about drilling holes)
thanks for using Leebra!
