As an immigrant myself, yes. It is very attractive just by the fact that Canada's government isn't 100% corrupt and it's honestly very family friendly. Sure, there are problems, but they pale in comparison to a lot of other countries'.

It took me 5 months to find a good job (that wasn't service) - so competition is tough and the initial steps are ridiculously expensive, but it's all good. Infrastructure and systems are suffering right now, but in the next 20 years, I'm confident it will catch up.

Thanks for the warm welcome! While things are still new, I know it will pick up. I feel like this is my new home after 12 years on reddit

Thanks for the hard work! Is there a way for us to donate to lemmy.ca for server costs?

Our current favorites are:

• Sprawlopolis - quick, small game while still being challenging
• Arkham Horror LCG - excellent narrative and great deck construction
• Frosthaven - epic battles with clever cardplay
• Terraforming Mars: Ares, Crisis Expansion - engine building in the TfM world
• Skytear Horde - tense back and forth card battler with a good AI system

Love this game too but you need medium heavy gamers or the rules may go over their heads

ano ibig mo sabihin na counterpart? ayoko na bumalik dun. Dito na tayo sa lemmy :)

We love this game!

I really like the Ares expansions. You should try them out

Thank you! This is really helpful. There are still some communities that are 404ing, but it's probably part of the growing pains.

There was a thread on this on the alien site a couple of years back. These are farmed salmon of lower quality (and is dirt cheap). Costco has a higher quality salmon that they sell, but it's more expensive.

Still two I can't seem to find using our search. Maybe you can help/try? -https://lemmy.ca/c/philippines@lemmy.world -https://lemmy.ca/c/audiobooks@lemmy.ml

Thank you! This is perfect as it's close to us

That's a good idea. We have lots of cul de sacs near us

Yeah that's the problem. I'm trying to search because I don't know the URL in the first place :/ I guess I'll have to use another instance's search.
