I noticed that Qwerty was uncomfortably left-hand dominant, and I thought switching to Colemak would lead to a more comfortable typing experience.

It’s been 9 months since I’ve switched, and I vastly prefer it over Qwerty now. I got a slight speed bump as well (120 wpm to ~140 wpm). I don’t think the speed bump is typical though, I did a lot of practice on Monkeytype.
