Depending on how your ISP is doing IPv6, the typical way would just route the entire prefix to your router, and the ISP would not know how many addresses are used, in the sense that there is no table (no neighbor discovery is needed). If your ISP is keeping data of flows from your prefix then it could start counting unique addresses, but there isn't really good a reason to and it wouldn't be accurate. Some devices pull and use more than one address, and quiet devices might not get picked up by flows which are typically sampled at a ratio.

Depending on the jurisdiction, soliciting often requires a permit and conditions of the permit include obeying no soliciting signs. Failure to obey typically means the permit can be revoked, or it could be a criminal offense. Could be worth looking into that for your area.

New York State's civil service pension/retirement system is still like this. Including holidays.

Missing from headline: "... despite federal prosecutors requesting a 1 day sentence"

Glad the judge was able to see the absolute ridiculousness of that.

edit: I thought at first it was 33 years for some reason... sad day.

it's the attitude that one side says both sides have, but we know they (and you) already live in an invented reality anyway.

i think it is disingenuous to represent that AC is a standard or required by law for a rental anywhere, at least in the US. I do find it shitty that the AC included with the unit is damaged, and land(slum)lord won't fix it, but again, unless it's in the lease there really is no requirement that the LL provide it in US. I think it is good to start a discussion on if AC for a rental should be the law, (edit: i also would strongly support this) but i doubt we will see that become the case, especially in southern states which probably would need it most.

we do monthly phishing tests and some of our people are so bad that we put in the test email "this is a phishing email, do not click sign in" above and below the sign in box and they still give creds

that didn't have any list of states, but my curiosity lead me here https://propertyclub.nyc/...

i was pleasantly surprised to find 24 states that do require it, with some other states that have some loopholes.

I think you cannot find any because the Linux kernel itself has AI assisted development happening. Distros that use the kernel then cannot say "No AI."

Edit: Gentoo and NetBSD specifically do not allow AI generated code.

I work for an telco and I have seen a lot of times that a contract for using preexisting underground infrastructure that have lids like this has a section requiring that they are returned to the same location and orientation when the enclosure is sealed.

Whoever owns that, municipality or private, will probably take a complaint about it, and may pass it to whoever is responsible or owns the plant inside.

sometimes when you go to put them down they can get startled awake, and what happens after that definitely gives off the explosion vibes.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/18650_battery

It is a classification, not a count of cells in the ebike battery.

The batteries measure 18 mm (0.71 in) in diameter by 65.0 mm (2.56 in) in length, giving them the name 18650.

to take this a step further, imagine someone who has been exposed to these services designed to be addictive their entire (digital) life, as well as being pushed further into these services by their peers who are equally addicted and the "influencers" they look up to that are paid by these services.
