Something that really blew me away is apparently Reddit has 2000 employees.

What the heck are they doing??

It's becoming less and less likely, the more that Reddit keeps on messing up. Threatening moderators and undeleting posts??

There's actually quite a bit of content on the Threadiverse at the moment, I think it's about discovery now! Kbin is pretty good at finding new threads/topics and suggesting random communities. https://programming.dev/ has heaps of software communities.

You bet! I'm actually trying to make a game (PC base builder called Adaptory). I've been playing a lot of Timberborn and Diablo 2 recently.

I wish it didn't modify our copyright term. +50 to +70 years is a real shame. :(

Honestly there's always been multiple groups for common topics. Just on Reddit I was part of at least a half dozen LGBTQ+ subs, each had their own vibe! 😊

I bought D4 reluctantly and it's OK, I guess, but I'm kinda bored of it already. The art is spectacular but the gameplay is kinda dull.

Good point, I only use Gaspy now haha

That's so weird because as a mod it's mostly just unpaid boring work, with the occasional dozen-pages-of-penises thrown in. I'm really enjoying the break tbh.

Hello, world! 😊

I'm not yet, I really should join one!!

Thank you!! I love the Botanist 😊 I had their tiramasu the other week, omg 🤩

Unfortunately I love the longer hikes (my faves are 4-6 hours) but I love the idea!

Normally I go walkies by myself.

Definitely not too mainstream but they don't have anything vegan 😭

I found the breakdown super interesting:

Newtown Wellington! 😀

Hello, me!

Wow the comment from kbin.social appeared immediately on lemmy.nz, extremely impressive

Hmm not that I know of! Gosh I am tempted to pull out an IDE and make some fixes but I don't know Rust yet

Looks good to me 😊 Maybe for #6, do you mean "community moderators"? Maybe include a direct link to a page of the moderators/admins?
