Dead torrents are a lot less common as people are often rewarded for seeding torrents for long periods of time or seeding torrents with very few seeds. You often get faster download speeds on torrents with few seeds as people often use seedboxes to maintain ratio.

Yes, is possible and not tha hard, you add the torrent back into your client pause it (or dont even let it start downlaing) and point it to the already downloaded files by changeing the download folder, after that just varify the files in the client, it sould see the already downloaded files and verify that they are the same once that is done you can continue seeding.

One thing i havent seen mentioned here yet is how easy it is to automate the download of tv shows and movies with torrents (and usenet) by using sonarr/radarr. Its a lot more convenient to just look up a show and select which seasons you want and have the rest done for you.

CS1.6 and Prism launcher for minecraft (you can bypass the account requirement with this) have a linux build iirc, I would go with that.

Have you checked fmhy.net? They have german content and if those dont have it you could try asking for an invite to immortous on their forum. or check the german trackers on prowlarr some might have open signups

You can always check the megathread here or fmhy.net for sites that might have it. cs.rin.ru seems to have downloads for X-Plane 11 and 12 from a quick search.

From my experience most of the stuff that uses steamworks for multiplayer can work on a pirated copy, you can only play with other pirates tho. Then games where you can host your own servers and p2p games can be done often as well. Some games that require you to use offical servers have server emus written for already but they arent finished iirc (i kbow of BO4 and Diablo3)
