Why not push for google to adopt iMessage as a standard instead?

Because that would ruin Apple's business model of 'your friend doesn't use iMessage because they have an android and thats on them'

They wouldn't make money off of iMessage being on androids, which they've shown with other things to be the only thing they really care aboyt.

I'm trans, watch OneTopicAtATime and similar pro-trans and pro-gay channels and still get recommended Matt Walsh somehow.

Exactly. Right now I am staying on Lemmy, but I said the same thing a year or two ago about Reddit. If something fucks up I'm happy to pack up shop and move.

To think your Reddit account was older than most kids at my school...

In my experience there are two kinds of pirates.

People like me, and presumably all the others on Lemmy who pirate as a 'fuck you' to shitty companies or people who make overpriced software. Or those who pirate as a free trial but eventually buy the software, or those who only pirate because they can't afford it.

And there's those that pirate because they just don't care. I assume they're the ones who are staying on Reddit, becausd they just don't care.

The website says

"We run a crawler across all Lemmy Fediverse servers, scanning each server no more than once every 12 hours."

so hopefully it'll be changed back soon. edit: formatting

Someone else said they used the post filter to remove it on the iOS app mlem.

Just copy and paste the title into the filter section of the settings of whatever app you are using and it should stop popping up.

Ngl, I don't think I've ever heard it from a millennial. But yeah, its kinda silly given if your brain stopped developing you would lose your memory...

or at least, ability to gain memories. I'm not a neuroscientist.

That's what I plan on doing, I'll buy a refurbished Pixel 7 Pro and flash GrapheneOS or e/OS/ to it.

I think they mean 'overclocking it through the amd app', with the app in question being Ryzen Master

I agree with you, but isn't the whole "the brain doesn't finish developing until around 25" claim bogus?
