I'd do the same, yet Qobuz is not available in my country, despite being in EU...
Tasty!
No surprise. Dessalines is the reason I switched from lemmy to piefed once my instance anounced it's going to shut down...
The reason it was such a hit at the time was mainly its visuals, IMO. Story might be predictable and shallow, but you can't deny it looks beautiful. All the colorful jungle, alien species, green mountain peaks and needle rocks, it's all just very pleasant to look at. What also helped it being directed by big Hollywood name.
PS: unrelated, but it has amazing OST.
In short: The shittiest mfers in gaming industry.
Official Remaster is meh, so I hope this will be the "remaster" everyone wants.
I'm also very much interested in Skywind. Even more than this one, as Morrowind is one of my favorite games of all times.
I've seen mentioned these:
Well, from my very limited experience point of view it is exactly 1:1 replacement of Lemmy.
It might not support 100% lemmy features, but generally it functions the same.
Ethernet won't help you, when your home connection is POS... Speaking from my own experience.
Bloodlines is one of my all time favourite games. It's not perfect gameplay wise, but it has probably the best world, characters and atmosphere I've encountered. I just love it.
Whenever Bloodlines 2 was announced I got excited. Then it went through developer hell and my expectations dropped to zero. Nowadays after I've seen and read couple previews and hands-ons, my hopes went up a notch and I started to get excited again.
Then release date and price got announced and I was like WTF? Cold shower. I know, it's Paradox and the have billions of DLCs for everything, but still... Day one DLC should be a crime! If you feel the game is worth more or you have so much content you need a DLC (lol), either pack all in and rise a price bit or release that DLC later, not day one.
I'm a patient gamer with huge back log, so I probably wouldn't buy at release anyway and wait for sale, but it still sucks to hear such a bullshit. I hope it's going to be good game, or at least okish game with good story, characters and atmosphere, but it feels like they're already tripping their legs with such moves.
I don't get why are people OK with Lemmy as a product when the dev/mod is asshole like this. It boggles my mind when there are SW projects dismissed as trash (and people are hated for using those) because the dev is homophobic, xenophobic or far right, but when it's tankie/marxist/stalinist, it's somehow OK to still use the software?
I'm so glad there's alternative, either piefed or mbin.
EDIT: I might be biased a little bit as my country experienced four decades of socialist "experiment", twenty years of those being active Soviet occupation...
I'll be back.
The Passion of the Christ
The Terminator
If it weren't for you, they could do 27,20000000001 USD! Shame on you!
I have both Libre Office and MS Office at my work PC and I much prefer to use Libre. Sure it's not perfect but I find it more focused on the task I need to do than MS one. Speaking particularly about Calc vs Excel, not sure about other parts.
Second? No, no, no, ... They're way past that number.
What did the chicken do to him to deserve this fate?
For me it's preferred the default way. I have plenty of tabs open, often switch between multiple of them and when I tried to use "switch to last used" I got confused almost instantly. I just kept losing track of where I was and what I wanted and what will be "last one" next time.
The default way I always see tab bar and know exactly where ctrl+(shift+)tab will get me and what is next/last.
A lot of people don't understand the fact that without Firefox there won't be any Waterfox, Librewolf, Ironfox, Fennec, etc. So despite Mozilla doing some really, really stupid shit we should all keep our fingers crossed the browser somehow manage to survive their leadership.
Well, I was never really thinking about this. But when I look back now, I'd say my dad. I feel like there won't be many like this here on fediverse, because whenever I stumble upon family related topic it looks like nearly everyone here comes from dysfunctional families. I'm really glad I have parents that were caring, but also firm when needed, that shaped me to become normal (I hope so) functioning person.
