Nah. I'm going to leave it to someone with more energy and time. I will contribute here in other ways, posts and comments.
They are fairly indifferent to the situation. Unfortunately the subreddit was a bit of crab pot.
Like most my career is soaking up the majority of my time, but I'm pursuing art and also just playing/recording more games.
Liking this new style of having a companion image with the post. Hopefully it will become a less manual process with Lemmy in the future.
r/letsplay is a community for those who record gameplay with voice commentary, usually while playing the game. This content is typically uploaded to YouTube or livestreamed on Twitch.
I hope so too. I stopped commenting on reddit a while back because it was just such an unenjoyable, unrewarding experience. Felt like users just got their dopamine by being contrarian about anything and everything.
Those users will come here. Best thing we can do is not engage. Just downvote, block, and delete those people from your memory. They aren't worth your energy. Embrace the amiable community instead.
Alternatives exist now and we have a community here that is growing. It's a good place to be.
Thanks for your and the other Lemmy devs work on this. These growing pains are a good thing as frustrating as it can be for users and maintainers alike. Lemmy will get bigger and this optimization treadmill is really just starting.
The """elected""" president. HAHAHAHA! Appealing to authority doesn't mean much when you established firmly that might makes right, huh?
Feels good. Lemmy is just a friendlier environment overall, so I'm loving the community here.
There are a lot to sift through, but I recommend:
Looks stellar so far with that super fluid combat. Some of the showcased enemies look fun. Got one that tries to spin dash the player and a boss with chainsaws for arms.
So glad they're releasing this for PC. Thanks for sharing, Chronokill.
That's all for me today. I would like this place to grow into one we can stay up to date with world events. That was my main reason to go to reddit. Hopefully you enjoy this AI summarization. I figured it would be easier to absorb than copy pasting the entire article while avoiding any future issues with the source content providers.
Cheers
EDIT: By the way, the summarization is created by Google Bard. I'm just copying the article into the prompt, preceeded by:
format: markdown
Summarize the key information of the following text in a few bullet points.
I expect you would get similar results with other AIs.
Thanks! Google Bard is only so smart.
This was my answer. It'll run on anything and it has a lot of depth. They also have some newer tilesets that make the game much more accessible.
Cassette Beasts! It's a monster collecting battler much like Pokemon and Persona. I've got 50 hours on it now and it's the perfect game to play on the deck.
thanks for using Leebra!
