@starrox
The point to be taken here is that you can NEVER trust for profit companies because its just a matter of time before they turn evil...and during that time, you've wasted years of effort. Time to build something new!
@lowleveldata

@deadsuperhero
Exciting times!!

@hoodatninja
You just described the reason yourself;)
@dansup @pixelfed @bady @fediverse

@dillekant that's the most incredible thing I've seen in a long time, thanks for sharing:)

@bdonvr
I really hope #apollo goes the way of twitter apps and sees the sea change then makes it compatible with #Lemmy and #kbin
@lrhodes @fediverse

@deadsuperhero so glad you are back and I hope a new "generation" will discover what a gem it is for the #fediverse !

@ajsadauskas
That's why #peertube is so important! Everyone should be migrating or at least mirroring there ASAP... It will happen.

@xnx
A good explainer campaign of how it works practically is essential if it hopes to be adopted for sure. I know a bit, but still not clear on it. At some point credits need to be purchased. And as far as I understand it's not something that is connected to a bank account.

@xnx
I really hope some larger #foss projects team up with them for use as a donation platform at some point...the only issue is, where to buy taler w cash🤷‍♂️
@bloup

@CheshireSnake @baascus the more the merrier:)

@poVoq cool site, thx for sharing!

@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social well it appears as though #youtube has now become a "gated community" the #YT frontends are not working. It prompts a login to prove you're not a bot:(

@ProdigalFrog
Thanks!!:)

@yogthos this is amazing!

@eliasp @ajsadauskas @urbanism Oh my god, that's amazing!

@Wander @wakest yeah, I agree, I was wondering if it was the app I was using, but I've tried several w the same lack of pics:(

@deadsuperhero
Can we follow on #activitypub ? #Castopod would be a great option for the #fediverse

@0xtero @YoTcA @Kory @ernest @DarraignTheSane I am connecting from mastodon and was wondering the same, I haven't had much luck

@Samsy
Wow, you were right very nice. Amazing what a little polish can do.

Another app that transformed with UI updates is gajim, the desktop xmpp client.

@Samsy
I'll need to take a look, I haven't used k9 in ages
