Money isn’t as cheap anymore as it used to be. Tech companies have been struggling for about a year now. Even the larger ones have to show profits these days (not defending them, just explaining as I’m working in tech as well)

What about regular conversations when you are having people over? If it’s not tech/bluetooth related they must be able to hear that too and it must seem to them like a phone call (just 2 people talking)

I’m no expert, neither do I know what releases you downloaded and if they are quality groups. Just from the picture I’d say it’s to be expected because compression removes detail and detail is what you experience as noise in the picture. If I watched on my monitor compared to my tuned in TV I might perceive more detail as noise as well

Yes, that’s possible. The *arr’s need to be able to access the path on your storage server though. I’m using syncthing to move files between two locations.

Been using Nextcloud for the last 5 years and just returned to using a VPN. As many have said, it offers a lot of features I never used. Plus die Administration overhead (don’t you ever skip a major version) didn’t really justify it anymore for me

Wie gesagt, ich kann hier nur für mich selber sprechen. Angenommen ich würde ausschließlich auf ÖPNV setzen würde das 60 Minuten (pro Strecke) längeren Arbeitsweg bedeuten (von anderen Komfort-Argumenten außerhalb des Speckgürtels ganz abgesehen). Auch wenn man in 2023 mit meiner Einstellung klarer Außenseiter in Netz zu sein scheint finde ich es dennoch wichtig für jeden (auch mich) Meinungen außerhalb seines eigenen kleinen Universums zu hören
