v0.1.9 just dropped if you could try it again I'd appreciate it. Thanks for mentioning it Derg, and thanks for playing. I'll make sure to test in Firefox in this build as it goes on, but had to keep shipping to keep on schedule. Get your name fancy by spending your pax!

Did this happen on more than one community map? Or just that one? Thanks for trying it out.

The scoring should all be fixed at this point, let me know if you see anything out of order. Thanks for mentioning it.

I was able to reproduce the issue, working on it now, your runs were logged just issue with them displaying on the community map leaderboards.

Should be fixed now, thanks for mentioning it.

Thanks for mentioning this I noticed while playing. Seems to be an issue specifically with ordering for community maps sequential win conditions after the update to allow mixing of win types.

Both the Planet & Moon and Trio maps are working. Thanks for mentioning it. Hotfix! πŸ‘

Thanks Derg, I'm glad you're enjoying it, I saw your run on the Trefoil and it's been great to see you improve. I'll look into that issue for the v0.1.4, just posted the v0.1.3 changes which was a massive update. Yes using afterburner can be the fastest strategy on the shorter simpler maps, but it consumes 225% fuel, so an extra 25% premium for that double boost.

Also remember, your ship becomes lighter as your fuel leaves your vessel, so your acceleration increases as your tank gets lower! So yes, using your afterburner to burn more fuel faster can definitely be the strategy, I'm glad it's working.

Great feedback, thank you. I will work on making the default thrust trail better visually. I'll add a toggle button for prediction line. Sign in with google should still allow you to type in a name the same way as if not logged in, I'll look in to making sure there's no issues with that. The way profile saved names work is that a reserved official name will be saved for verified supporters in the future, otherwise names will rapidly be squatted on by bot accounts. Your linked google account will still allow you to save progress and share your profile, but not reserve a name. I think eventually yes, there will need to be some type of preference settings. Thanks again for playing!

I will implement a system that allows you to edit your profile name, as a "soft" username, but it won't reserve the name, rather just making it easier to keep using the same name instead of having to type in your name of choice each time. But this doesn't stop someone else from using the same name on the leaderboard. The biggest benefit of having a link signing in with Google is that you keep all your history on your account and can easily share your profile/rank/runs.

Water rapids is indeed a fun one, it's changed at this point, the green path has been removed entirely from the game in favor of checkpoints. You're welcome, and let me know if you have any other suggestions/feedback, I always appreciate your input.

I wish you the best! You've got the skill, the competition is getting difficult. TITANENGINEER got some pretty high scores yesterday so I had to spend last night getting a higher score than them. πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Here's a test of a link directly to a recent run I did:

I got 956 / 61.25s / 53.1s fuel on Slingshot in Slingshot Speeders! https://slingshotspeeders.com/?r=1174

Two things I'll fix. It seems like going back to home after a replay keeps you stuck on that link. Also the only way to get the link is to copy it after you do a run, when you should be able to get and share the link at any time. That'll be one of the next things I work on in the future. But as for now the v0.0.7 is stable and should be running much smoother.

Great question. N-body. Each tick the ship’s gravity is the inverse-square sum of every well and every moving body. Verlet, not a Kepler two-body orbit. (Win checks a Kepler fit in the green ring; that’s the capture test, not how you fly.) Moons on shipped maps feel wells only, no moon–moon pull unless the map is well-less or dense.

Awesome thanks again for bringing this up, so the logic has been refined and standardized. The problem was that the Trefoil map was deceivingly not displaying that you immediately go through the first checkpoint at the start, so the logic was bugged with a specific condition. Simplified it, should all be the same now, Apollo was never affected, had to wipe Daytona and Trefoil for equitable competition given that changing that made the Daytona map one checkpoint shorter, and Trefoil starting point was slightly moved.
